- BWBrian WilliamsSep 20, 20231.0Trust me, do not place your parents at this particular location. I moved my Mother out after she was robbed of her credit cards, social security cards, and identity. They're were numerous stolen charges that I'm dealing with from this episode. After calling the Sheriff Dept, and filing a report. I followed up with the officer, it was confirmed the cards were stolen from her room. I have since moved my parent from this place. This is just 1 of many issues. Beware!!!!!!! In response to the owner's reply. On site management disregarded my concerns and accepted no responsibility regarding the incident. Only after i advised I was moving out a parent due to SAFETY concerns, management decided to finally contact us to address the issues. (So I thought ) If you as the owner was so concerned, why haven't YOU contacted my family? Lastly, yourself (owner) nor the management of this facility did not in fact contact the local authorities, as I recently picked up the Police report., I have been in contact with the officer via email that made the report and he advised the owner nor local management has not made any contact to follow up on the incident.

Such employees are precious. They help make this establishment a joy for the residents and visitors alike. Kudos to the management for employing staff with hearts that are full of love for what they do.

I get enthusiastic calls from her regularly about all of the new things she’s tried or in which she has participated; 1st it was the food (very good and she enjoys the restaurant-style service), then numerous activities (some socials, brain teasers, international interests), but the real kicker was her first shower with help; she was a bit nervous anticipating this as she is normally a very private person. Well, she called me later that morning, “I just had the most marvelous shower I’ve had in years! I got my hair washed, my back washed, and my feet washed; then she wrapped me in a big towel and patted me dry.” My hat’s off to Brookdale for making her transition such a positive experience.
