While on vacation visiting some family members a month or so ago I wasn't going to write a review but it's troubling my heart especially in a community such as beautiful as this one it was very disturbing while I was there they had a fire drill in the community normally when you have a fire drill and it's not real you notify residents so they won't be triggered and panicking that wasn't the case in this building none of the residents knew about it and very very heartfelt some of the residents who were walking with walkers were coming down the stairs dangerous if you ask me one of the ladies Marlene to charge she could barely walk what's coming down the stairs and she was very furious and she had every right to be because there was no notice to them that's where they live so they were very scared they didn't know what was going on while all the other caregivers were downstairs huddling up in a group meeting some of the residents were frightening upstairs and in their apartments and coming down the stairs by themselvesNoel I do believe that's his name the head of maintenance was not very welcoming when the residents was asking him questions about why they did not get a flyer or anything about a fire drill being tested in the community she went on to ask him some questions about the second floor and he was to me yelling at her and then he said something very rude and walked away this building in my opinion is not okay inside you may have some staff members that are great and wonderful but the bad fruits are not okay on the second floor you have I was walking by and I overheard caregivers talking about other residents about how there was a med tech there who was not giving another resident there insolent and it got so bad that she was coughing up blood and have to be sent out are about another resident passing away because of mismanaged medication the resident was fine one day the next day she was in her room all day after that she passed away that's very suspicious to me and these are caregivers talking out in the open very freely you have new MedEx don't know what they're doing taking on multiple shifts burning themselves out this is ridiculous this is how mistakes happen and to top it off you have residents going inside other residents room and when this matter is brought up they act like they can't do anything about it I feel if a resident can go into another resident room and take their belongings that their family paid for the family of the resident who is taking their belongings should be responsible to put it back and pay for it and you also have staff members going inside residence room taking belongings as well this is outrageous this is how this community is being ran and to make matters worse they lost the best director they had their Aly was so awesome a very beautiful young lady inside and out there were a few staff members on the second floor who are just very very good at what they do I will not say names cuz I don't want to single anyone out but they are very very well put together and very good at what they do they came to work never complained always did what they had to do they might not like it but they did it and her and the other young gentleman worked very well together they tag team every morning and even some on evening shift as well always staying to go above and beyond for the residence but as for the other ones they were just there complaining every 5 minutes it was one young lady there very short older lady who always complained every morning about what she can't do but you knew what your job description was when you applied you have family members giving some of the staff members money which is very bad because you're not supposed to do that I was told you have residents who are not supposed to be on the second floor because they are very combative I mean this is crazy if you ask me they need to get it together

Emerald Valley is a beautiful community. They have a great team of leaders. Kalpana the activities assistant is great at keeping the residents engaged and entertained always goes above and beyond. Lacey the Director of Sales is always warm and welcoming. She definitely loves her job and it shows as she is always willing to help with anything.

I spoke with Lacey Pierce, who is the Director of Sales in this community, and I can understand why she holds that position. She is very knowledgeable and down to earth. She genuinely wants to help, not just make another sale. She went above and beyond by giving me a tour. I felt her friendliness and respect toward me every step of the way. I would recommend Lacey and this facility to anyone I know. The facility was also very clean and welcoming."
