  My mother lived at Brookdale North Tucson for 3 1/2 years. It was obvious that the staff truely & emotionally cared for her, like one might care for an adopted child. I live out of state but communication was timely with important issues and topics. When I visited every 4-6 weeks her room was always clean. She was fed tasty meals on a regular basis, adhering to her tastes and preferences. I am happy to give Brookdale North Tucson 5 stars because they deserve it. I highly recommend them to anyone needing assisted living for their loved one.

  The heart of a community is their staff. The dedication and love the staff has for their residents and families is second to none. As for the customer experience, some people will have problems anywhere they go and North Tucson deals with these situations well. When visiting, I overheard some of the unreal and strange expectations other families had. The administration was gracious and implemented solutions for these people to make them feel better. It's a scary situation we find ourselves in when placing a loved one in assisted living. Brookdale does everything they can to make the transition easier and less scary.

  Caregivers are very kind. Management staff change constantly. Communication is extremely poor with management. There is no transfer of information when nurse leaves, when Director leaves. Medication misses are not documented or reviewed. Showers are missed. Please reconsider having your loved one reside in this facility. My father lived here almost 4 years and because management continued to fail ensuring his care; administering his medication and his showers…which he paid for in advance, I was forced to move him, after sending at least monthly and more emails for over 6 months. The concerns and communication from management does not exist.

  I was in bureaucratic hell trying to find services for my 93 year old mother-in-law when she returned from hospital after suffering from covid. It was costing more than $1000 per day at her independent living facility. Lorell contacted me from Brookdale and made the transition seamless. She is so helpful along with the staff nurse, Stacy. They were able to quickly assess mom’s needs and sprang into action. They are extremely supportive. I know our loved one is safe and well cared for. The staff I have met so far is friendly and always available when you need them.
