My son has attended Goddard since he was
1 year old and it has been a great experience for all of us. Every week the classes focus on a new and different theme and my son is excited to share with me. I love the app, it keeps me up yo date on the current events and the picture updates are great.

It has been so challenging for me to find a school to enroll my special needs son. However, The Director and staff have been so helpful, and I am so grateful for them. I understand some parents have more high expectations then some and that is valid but for me I am so happy and thankful that my son is in school with other children. The school always sends out reminders and messages on their APP and do their best to keep the parents informed with incident reports about anything that happens in the classroom. They have a lot of activities and events for children to experience and learn which is amazing. I wished they had a Goddard Elementary because I would love my son to stay in this school for as long as possible. Thank you Goddard for all you do <3<3<3

My 2 (almost 3) year old daughter just started this school 2 months ago. We were very nervous because she had been at home since birth, no experience with outside care other than parents and grandma. She only cried on week 1 and will constantly ask to go to school. When we pick her up she is happy and tells us how much fun she had.
From the initial phone call this school worked with us of our needs as a family. Principal Ryan is very friendly and answered questions over the phone and tour. Owner Joellen was accomodating with tuition and schedule. We liked that all classrooms have windows and parents are even invited to stop unnanounced. Bathrooms allow supervision however they are private for the kids. Well kept and clean. Many activities indoor and outdoors. They have an app that shares what food was eaten, diaper changes and pictures of activities (if you want pictures taken). They let kids be kids vs having unreasonable expectations, while still teaching life skills. They also do fun activities like pizza days and parents night out. We are very happy to have found this school.

I appreciate this school so much. We were only here a few months. We moved from out of state and my daughter is very sensitive and dependent. She’s not quick to adjust and bond. She found her people here and was very good overall. Still had hard days but the teachers were great with her. JoEllen was amazing in working with us and how difficult the transition was. Mr. Ryan was a nice friendly face and my daughter got stickers every day after school. They really were welcoming and made us feel comfortable. We happened to have some personal reasons that we had to leave but we would’ve been happy staying here long term.

“Even though our son is in the infant room, every day he works on language, art, socialization skills, as well as having fun learning new ways to play.
I really appreciate the daily communication about his activities, feeding and napping. We have lots of fun reading it together as a family!”

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
