  Sunrise has been so amazing with communications never a time we don’t feel like we don’t know what’s going on. The staff have addressed all concerns and questions promptly and professionally! Such a family feeling it’s been great this far!!

  I don’t even know where to begin. The director is dishonest and inappropriate, and the staff turnover is startling. My daughter was here for less than a month, and in that time, I was shocked at what I learned. 1. Director tells me that the two staff in my daughter’s room are the best in the school and then fires one the next week and talks extensively degrading about her to me (extra awkward because director and I are light-skinned and the fired teacher is black). 2. On multiple occasions, even when I was clear that my daughter had eaten breakfast at home and she came in after 9:30, she was placed in a high chair and presented with a breakfast again instead of given a chance to play. 3. I learned not long after we started that toddlers in the 1-year-old room have no access to a toilet so, even if they’re potty training at home, they’re confused and delayed at school and required to soil their diapers instead. 4. The director said they don’t feed “added sugars” to their infants and toddlers, among a number of things, and when I confronted her with the labels, she said “well, we didn’t add the sugar, it comes like that.” 5. In the infant room, there was no reading, no music, no increasingly complex or interactive toys, and nothing to interact with above floor level—not appropriate substrate/classroom for babies to are moving around. 6. The security is a joke, with the door code being the last 4 digits of your phone number and everyone constantly holding the door wide open. In summary, run far away whether you’re a parent of a little or a potential employee.

  Parents I beg you to exercise extreme caution before enrolling your child here. My nephew was left at his elementary school & NO ONE notified his grandmother. Instead she arrived to the daycare and discovered he was not there. Only to be told someone at his elementary school informed the bus driver my nephew had been signed out but they don’t know who signed him out and when asked who gave the daycare this information the director responded “a cute blonde” then went as far as to ask “what you don’t want me to trust the school” seemingly irritated that a parent wanted details on their child’s potential abduction. Completely unapologetic, extremely negligent and just plain unprofessional. Fortunately Greenbriar Elementary had my nephew as he was standing in front of the school the ENTIRE time. Sunrise preschool may take a child’s safety lightly but I do not. I will be filing a formal complaint with ADHS, and reporting to the NECPA because this daycare’s conduct and their response to a parents concern is downright disgusting and disturbing. Thank goodness my nephew is safe no thanks to these people.

  Read about this GARBAGE facility & saw that a young 2 & a half year old named Harrison was bitten MULTIPLE TIMES. At least 8 times. While under supervision, a employee was “at the changing station” when it happened.
