At The Goddard School located in South Chandler, we're more than just a daycare. The Goddard School is a private preschool, offering childcare to infants and toddlers to pre-k. Our programs are designed to nurture each child's curiosity in a safe and caring environment.
The atmosphere at the school is so happy, both students and teachers! The teachers really tailor their instruction to match the students' levels, and they communicate with parents so we know where to focus at home too.
Miss Anita is an outstanding teacher; my daughter adores her and constantly talks about her at home. I’m truly grateful to have found Godard for our daughter. She always looks forward to going to school and is learning so much!

Abby (the owner) could not be a more proactive, involved, and organized owner. She truly felt like an extension of our family.
Her teachers Ms. Lola and Kylah are the absolute BEST. Our daughter (20 months at the time) talks about them when she comes home and can't wait to go back each day. Also, the cute art (pinterest on steroids- so stinkin cute) that they bring home each day is just the icing on the cake!
Thank you all for giving us peace of mind each day at drop off. Our girl thrived! We are so sad that we had to move and lose you all as an extension of our family. Our sweet girl has never smiled more and felt so loved and would recommend Goddard of South Chandler to anyone. The last week my daughter was at Goddard before we made a cross country move they made her a card with each kiddos face on it so she had it to look at to get her through her transition, they also made handprint alphabet letters to make up for the other 21 letters she wasn't going to get to finish... YES that's right 21 custom animal handprints so that she could have them for her new room AND if that wasn't enough they took pictures with her and sent them to us so we could have them for our daughter to have. Seriously, if you needed a sign for where to put your kiddo, this is it.
Also, the option to have catered organic options is amazing. They think of everything!
If we could, we would clone Abby, Lola, and Kylah! We miss you all dearly!

I had my son here during CareBear. The new Goddard owners have no idea how to execute an actual educational curriculum even though it’s provided to them from corporate for this franchise. They turned it into a nursery and it’s not focused on preschool or preK children. I don’t recommend. Take tours elsewhere and see the real innovation and learning that are available all within 15 minutes. Staff turnover seems higher than normal. They don’t even great the children to make them feel welcome. Random new people at front desk. Access to building is not secure. The new layout is more like a medical clinic than a high energy learning environment. No individual workbooks just pages copied from a book. There is no value here. Children deserve better.

My kids have been going to Goddard for about 2 months. I appreciate all of the creative activities I’ve seen so far, especially in the infant room. I love all of the exposure my baby gets through the different sensory activities.

What is a typical day at The Goddard School like?
In each classroom, we provide hands-on, playful, child-centered learning experiences that vary based on the children’s levels of development. Teachers help children grow into happy, healthy, intelligent little humans who are ready to take on the world around them.
For infants, we follow the care schedule set by your family and utilize personal care moments to connect with and expand your little one’s individual development. Our teachers also incorporate songs, finger play, books and sensory and physical exploration each day.
Our busy toddlers flex their independence as they learn to walk, talk and safely explore the world around them. Their curiosity and interests drive the classroom structure.
In our preschool and pre-k classrooms, we add more school preparation and readiness by focusing on academic skills as well as interpersonal and collaboration skills. Teachers support children as they investigate the world around them. Children learn how to ask and answer questions, work with others, navigate social situations and understand and communicate their own thoughts and feelings.
Our teachers expertly create supportive classrooms for all children to safely learn and test new social, academic and physical skills throughout a typical routine that includes morning and afternoon snack time, lunch, naptime, exploration time, small and large group experiences and outdoor play.
