- ECEvy CagnNov 12, 20221.0These are irresponsible people who leave a firepit burning all day and all night unattended. The black smoke and foul odor is horrible and polluting the air. Air quality in Arizona is poor most days and we finally have cooler weather but don't get to enjoy God's beautiful fresh air because these selfish people are destroying the environment and don't care about others. This area is surrounded by residential homes with another 30+ under construction. No human kindness, neighbors surrounding this area say it's inconsiderate and reckless. Attached additional picture showing this huge fire pit when it was under recent construction. This fire pit is so large it can hold over 200 turkeys (never mind the turkey shortage), the fire was running all day and night with black smoke, see picture and video. You want to roast 200 turkeys in a fire pit, do it on a farm with acreage not next to the Paseo Trail public walkway and residential homes. This new fire pit is on the southwest corner of the fenced in KK Skousen park, which is owned by the Church of Jesus Christ Latter day Saints at 1900 E Fairview Street and only available by appointment.
