On August 1, 2012 the two firms partnered to form Smith - Benton Funeral Home. This partnership will be positive for the families of Saline County by bringing one of the state's largest and oldest funeral establishments to Benton. Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home handles more services than any other funeral home in central Arkansas.
Smith-Benton Funeral Home has their own state-of-the-art Cremation Center at our other location in North Little Rock. We have complete control and oversight of the cremation. All other funeral homes in Saline County out-source their cremations to commercial crematories.
Smith Funeral Homes have proudly served the community with compassion and dignity since 1955.

To Jerry Lynn who stepped in to help with visitation when Chrissy was called away. To Kathy who made sure I had a firm grip on the aftercare things that needed to be done. Even the 2 young men who took my husband into their care were polite, professional, and caring. Thank you, Smiths, for everything.

She was so sensitive to our needs and made the entire process caring and easy to understand. Their aftercare specialist Kathie Oxford helped us through all the notifications and went above and beyond to make sure we understood what must be done in regards to account closing, apps etc. When my mom died I had to figure out everything on my own.
