No matter your story, we welcome you to join us as we all try to be a little bit better, a little bit kinder, a little more helpful—because that’s what Jesus taught. We are a diverse community of followers of Jesus Christ and welcome all to worship here. We fellowship together as well as offer youth and children’s programs.
Jesus Christ can make you a better person. You can make us a better community. Come worship with us. Church services are held every Sunday. Visitors are always welcome.
I call Spruce Grove, Alberta home. But I have had the privilege for the last 1 1/2 years to attend The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Slave Lake for one or two Sundays each month. The people are full of faith and extremely loving and kind. Even though I am not from Slave Lake, they welcome me in as one of their own. They love God and it shows in both their words and deeds. They look for opportunities to serve the local community. They also support each other. There are some in the local congregation who are battling intense health challenges and yet they still feel a desire to serve others whenever they can, despite their own health challenges. I highly recommend stopping in as a visitor on a Sunday and seeing what it is all about. It might just change your life. I know it has changed mine.
