Primrose School of Swift Creek is an accredited daycare located in the Midlothian area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and after school programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
One of the things I love the most about Primrose is that it's crystal clear that the teachers and staff love my kids (and everyone else's), and want the best for them. My son left Primrose two years ago to start public school and his teachers still check in on him and ask about him when I'm there for my younger daughter, who is now in EPS but has been loved on by everyone since her first day in the Early Infants room. There's genuine care and concern at a level that I had not seen at our previous center. Primrose is run like a school, as it should be, while other centers are run like businesses, with a focus on the bottom line and not our children. While there is certainly a premium for the level of care we receive at Primrose, I have never once wondered if I was "getting what I paid for," so to speak.

Primrose at Swift Creek is a really great daycare! I feel comfortable taking my child there everyday knowing that they will be safe and well taken care of. This staff is really great and very approachable. They do so many activities with my child that promotes learning. My child looks forward to daycare everyday! Primrose is a good investment for my child that’s worth every single penny!

I wish I had all of the words to express how much we love you the Primrose team. Our kiddo thrived in the short time he was there, and it was hands down due to the amazing staff. They turned a rough time we were going through, into something incredible for our kiddo and welcomed us with open arms. We will be forever grateful and singing your praises to anyone we can. Thank you so much for all that you have done.

We really wanted to like it here. Unfortunately, we did not. Communication was less than stellar; we had several revolutions of teachers come through our classroom - once we weren't informed a teacher left, another time when two teachers left we were fed several different stories regarding the circumstances of their departure. The energy was chaotic and definitely had the feel of a clique amongst staff and administration. Our daughter hated going; didn't realize how much she hated it until we started the new school.
They would share classrooms in the midst of the pandemic, which we were not informed of and my daughter had a covid exposure from a kid from another classroom bc of that (we have family who are immunocompromised so we have been very diligent about minimizing exposure). The teachers are sweet, but this place isn't well managed. We are glad to be gone and would encourage you to look elsewhere if you're considering sending your child(ren) there.
