Our journey with Primrose School of Bristow has been nothing short of amazing, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the love, patience, and dedication this school has shown to my son, Josiah, and our entire family.
We first discovered Primrose through my sister, whose daughter Harper attended and had a wonderful experience. With Harper being only a few months older than Josiah, it felt like the natural choice when it was time for him to begin his early education journey. Josiah started at Primrose in October 2023 in the Preschool program with Ms. Jordan, who played a huge role in helping him transition into a school environment. It wasn’t easy at first—like many young children, he had his struggles adjusting. But Ms. Jordan’s kindness, patience, and unwavering support helped him feel secure, adapt to routines, and build the confidence needed to thrive. Her dedication made all the difference, and we will always be grateful for the foundation she helped establish.
Now, Josiah is in Pre-K under the guidance of Ms. Ericka and Ms. Reiko, and I truly couldn’t ask for better teachers. They understand him, know his personality, and support him in every way possible. Like any child, he has emotional days, but their attentiveness and care ensure he feels heard, supported, and encouraged. Thanks to them, he has blossomed into one of the classroom’s joyful leaders, always cracking jokes to make his classmates laugh and helping out his teachers.
The entire staff at Primrose embodies the “It Takes a Village” philosophy, and it shows in everything they do. A special thank you to Mr. Tom, Ms. Iris, Ms. Jo, Mr. Travis, Ms. Kelcie, and every single teacher and staff member who has played a role in Josiah’s growth. The attention to detail, the way they genuinely care for each child, and the warm, nurturing environment they create is truly God’s work. It is a blessing to have found a school that goes beyond academics—it fosters emotional, social, and personal development in the best way possible.
What makes this experience even more special is that Primrose has become our family’s school of choice. After Harper, Josiah started, followed by his cousin Armani, and now his cousin Xander—who is in his same class, strengthening their bond even more. It’s a beautiful thing to see our kids grow together in a space that makes them feel safe, supported, and loved.
Although Josiah will be starting Kindergarten at Chris Yung next year, we love Primrose so much that we will continue using them for before and after care. That speaks volumes about the trust and appreciation we have for this school.
To the Primrose School of Bristow family—thank you for everything you do. Your passion, your kindness, and your unwavering commitment to our children’s growth do not go unnoticed. You have made an incredible impact on Josiah’s life, and for that, I will always be grateful.
With deep appreciation,
Javon Nelson
