Primrose School of Richardson is an accredited daycare located in the Richardson area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and after school programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
We have really enjoyed Primrose! Our little one has been going there since he was about 3 months old. We really feel like the teachers take a strong interest in his growth and development, often sharing details at drop off and getting excited along with us watching him grow. It has made the transition of starting daycare for our first born so much easier.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Primrose School of Richardson. Our oldest child started there as a toddler shortly after this location opened in 2015, and over the past 10 years all 3 of our children have attended Primrose School of Richardson (our younger 2 children beginning at 12 weeks of age).
From the infant program through the Private Kindergarten class (which all 3 of our summer birthday kids attended), the curriculum was engaging and age-appropriate, and the level of care was exceptional. Beginning in the toddler program, Primrose provides all daily snacks and meals, which are varied and healthy and to which we attribute our kids being adventurous eaters. Any issues that arose over our 10 year tenure (which are bound to happen periodically over such a long period of time) were handled efficiently and satisfactorily through communication with the Director, Gloria. The owners of this Primrose location are actively involved and attend big school events like holiday parties, parades, and graduations, contributing to the sense of community.
Most importantly, our children developed close friendships with their classmates and strong relationships with their teachers, who they grew to truly love. Our 3 children were VERY well prepared upon starting kindergarten in public school following their graduation from Primrose School of Richardson -- all could read fluently and understood appropriate classroom behavior. I cannot speak highly enough of the investment we made in the Primrose Private Kindergarten program for children with summer birthdays being "held back". Our youngest child will begin elementary school in a few weeks, so our time at Primrose School of Richardson has come to an end, but we will always be grateful for our 10 years there and recommend it to anyone looking for a partner in their child's care and education.

We love primrose! We have a toddler kiddo and a newborn on the way and it will be going to primrose too. Changing classes is always a struggle for myself seeing new teachers and change. But they work with the kids and my kiddo learns so much with each new class. My child is genuinely excited to see the little friends that have been made! If you do come across a concern staff takes you seriously, and it is resolved. They are always friendly to the grandparents that pick up my kiddo too, and know who they are.

We LOVE Primrose Richardson!
We recently moved to the area from out of state and put our son in a different daycare at first. It didn’t take long for us to realize it was not the right choice. We began searching for a different option and checked out this location because it was right beside my office.
Our son (who is almost 10months old) has been going for about 3 months there and loves it! He’s always so smiley when we drop him off/ pick him up. We love all the photos throughout the day, the art projects, and that the kids get both group and one on one time. He’s learning and developing new skills so quickly! I love the curriculum they have for the babies, it’s so much better than what I could come up with at home -and no joke the kids are ALWAYS locked in on whatever the teacher is doing for each activity.
Although we haven’t been there super long, we also really appreciate the celebrations they have for families too! He was a little young for the Easter festivities but we enjoyed his hat parade, and I was so excited to go to my first Mother’s Day brunch! (I’m also a big fan of the themed decorations for every season/holiday!).
The staff is so friendly and they all know my son by name. I’m so glad we decided to make the switch!
