⭐ TL;DR: Poor communication, wrong class placement, no door code on day one, and zero follow-through. We withdrew and went back to Primrose of Hidden Lakes — a night-and-day difference. We enrolled our daughter for the 2025 summer program after being told — both in writing and in person — that she’d join the Junior Explorers program for incoming kindergartners at $240/week. When care began, she was instead placed in a Pre-K class at $320/week, with no notice or explanation. Despite showing our original agreement, the school declined to fix the issue. On day one, we weren’t even given a door code to enter — despite enrolling several months in advance. We stood outside for several minutes with our daughter, as no staff were present at the front to help us get in. Communication overall was very poor. We received no welcome info, no classroom updates through ProCare, and no clear way to reach the teacher during the first week. The ProCare app, which is meant for messages and photos, was never used. When we asked about it, the response was that the teacher “isn’t comfortable with technology,” leaving us without a way to communicate about our child’s needs. We eventually withdrew and re-enrolled at Primrose of Hidden Lakes, where our daughter had attended for years. The difference was night and day — great communication, correct placement, and a staff who clearly knew and cared for her. Another family also reported a serious safety incident here while we were enrolled — a child left outside unsupervised — which was reported to the State of Texas Child Care Licensing division and is a matter of public record. I’m sharing this so other parents can make an informed decision.

I’m very disappointed with this daycare. The teachers didn’t seem to engage the children in any meaningful or creative activities. Despite charging parents for supplies, all they gave the kids was half a sheet of plain paper to draw on!! no printed materials, no crafts, and no variety. It felt like they just wanted to pass time rather than truly teach or nurture the children. I would not recommend this daycare.

My grandson been going there for 3 years, and all I hear is how happy he is with his teachers and that he be excited to come to school. Shout out to all the teachers and directors for doing a great job!!!!!

My son has been attending for a few years now and we are absolutely in love with this school. The director Krisny is an absolute delight and has been so attentive to any questions I have had.

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at this daycare, particularly with the kindergarten program. My 5-year-old son has been terrified of his teacher, crying all weekend and this morning, refusing to go to school. He was so distressed that we had to keep him home. I raised concerns about this teacher weeks ago, but nothing was done to address the issue. My son even shared that he was denied permission to use the bathroom, which left him frustrated and scared. This unacceptable situation forced us to find a new daycare, despite the challenges of uprooting our child. To make matters worse, when I sent a notice requesting a refund for unused days, the response was shockingly unprofessional. The front desk staff, Ms Krisny, without so much as a greeting, accused me of letting my son "play" with me!! She said, “Why do you let your son play with you?!!!!! What kind of play could a 5-year-old be doing by expressing fear and distress? This dismissive attitude, implying my son was making it up, was infuriating. He never had these issues in the past four years at other programs. Instead of taking responsibility or offering an apology, the daycare blamed us!
