We’ve had a great experience at Primrose Park Cities. The communication from the staff is terrific, and our child is genuinely happy and excited to go each day. It’s been a wonderful environment for learning and growth.

As a parent who has entrusted Primrose Park Cities with the care of my children for 4.5 years, I wanted to share an honest review of our experience. Pros: • Reliable Hours: One of the biggest advantages of Primrose is its availability. They are open almost every weekday of the year, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which is a huge help for working parents. • Dedicated Teachers: We were fortunate to have had several teachers who truly cared for and connected with our children. Special thanks to Princese, Keyla, Yeny, Nemi, Rose, and Margaret. • Educational Activities & Socialization: The school offers a structured environment with engaging activities that promote learning. • Wonderful Community: We met many wonderful families through the school, some of whom have become our close friends. Cons: • Staffing Ratios: We regularly observed classrooms that did not reflect the advertised teacher-to-child ratios. Seeing one teacher managing 12+ toddlers was not uncommon, and though management cited issues like tardiness or illness, this was a repeated issue that remained unresolved throughout our time there. • High Turnover: Turnover is common in the childcare industry, but it was particularly noticeable at Primrose Park Cities. Staff and leadership turnover was a recurring challenge. In 4.5 years, we saw four different school directors, and our child's Preschool Pathways Plus classroom had four or more teacher changes within just a few months, which affected continuity and stability. • Communication Challenges: In August 2024, our son transitioned to a new class, where most children were not potty trained. The classroom had no changing table — only toilets. Children were changed while lying on the floor or standing. Despite teacher concerns and multiple emails to the school’s director, it took three months to have a changing table installed. The director citied corporate approval was needed for a changing table. If this was the case, the children shouldn’t have been moved to a more advanced classroom. • Inconsistent Teacher Quality: While there are outstanding teachers at Primrose, we also encountered a few who lacked a positive attitude, raised their voices at children, and seemed disengaged. Overall, our experience at Primrose Park Cities was mixed. There are many positives, especially in terms of community, structure, and certain dedicated teachers. However, persistent concerns around staffing, turnover, communication, and leadership consistency ultimately impacted our confidence in the program.

We love the engaged learning and individual teaching primrose gives our child. It is much more than Montessori. It is the Primrose touch that makes our daughter love school and we as parents feel assured she is getting the best!

Excellent school. We love sending our daughter here. She has grown so much and made the best of friends. We love the opportunity to enroll in dance and soccer through the school so she can try out multiple sports. The school hands out fresh cookies for Cookie Friday and our daughter looks forward to it each week. Those little details make such an impact in her being excited to go to school each day.
