Primrose School of Southwest Arlington is an accredited daycare located in the Arlington area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten and after school programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
We transferred to primrose a few months ago and have been impressed every single day. The front office staff has been so welcoming and have no issues answering any questions or concerns we may have. The preschool 2 teachers (and the others who cover early morning or during nap) have been phenomenal and our son is thriving and improving every day. Primrose has been one of the best decisions we have made for our son and we are so thankful to have found them.

I rarely leave reviews but this one deserves it. We came from a daycare in Arlington directly across from Martin Highschool that my 2 year old repeatedly was injured at. Multiple times. We immediately pulled them and enrolled them at Primrose. From the second we walked into the building they embraced us, comforted us, and took my babies in and I knew they would be safe. The staff and owners have gone above and beyond to help me and my family. This staff does not forget a single thing from National Smarties Day to having take home delicious pizzas for all of the families, so that we can go home and not think about dinner. I could go on and on about this school and staff. What a blessing this has been.

Our son started Primrose Southwest two years ago in the Early Preschool class and is now about to start the Pre-K program. Our daughter started in the young toddler program at the beginning of this year and is now in EPS. We chose Primrose for our kids because we loved that it was curriculum based and that they provided food for the children (meaning I didn’t have to think about packing lunches or snacks yet :P). The school is also well kept and clean.
Our kids have absolutely loved it here. Both of my kids love their teachers - my son is so sad he won’t have Ms. M as a teacher this coming school year. She has been so great for him and is so patient and kind. My daughter started in Ms. Rods class and she just adores her. We were sad when she moved up classes but the ESP teachers, Ms. Caldwell. Ms. Lewis and Ms. Mayci (I can’t remember her last name!) are just as sweet and kind to her. All of the staff is great and say hi to my kids by name when they see them. Management is wonderful as well. They are great communicators with incidents, upcoming events and they do a lot of fun stuff for the kids throughout the year.
I also really love that they have extra curricular activities available at the school - like dance through stretch n grow, basketball through teams of tomorrow and soccer through soccer shots. It’s really helpful especially for a busy mom of 3 who isn’t ready for after school practices and games on the weekends but also want to give their kids that exposure to sports skills and learning how to be part of a team. I really can’t say enough good things about this school.
