Best of the best! Staff, Teachers, environment, family friendly events- I can't say enough about Primrose West Allen. They go above and beyond for the students and families. My little one loves to go to school, talks about his teachers all the time, and no doubt he will be very prepared and ready for Kinder when the time comes. This place is a dream, so go visit if you are looking for a wonderful school for your child to grow!

We are so grateful to have found Primrose. From day one, the welcoming atmosphere, caring teachers, and clear communication gave us complete peace of mind. We’ve always felt that our daughter is safe, supported, and truly loved each day. Primrose has been an incredible partner in her development - she has grown so much in confidence, independence, and social skills, and she genuinely looks forward to seeing her teachers and friends every morning. It means so much to us that the staff knows her by name and takes the time to greet her—it creates such a strong sense of community. The staff is caring, attentive, and organized, and we love getting to see all the fun things she does each day, plus the wonderful family events they host. Most of all, our daughter is happy—she feels safe, loved, and excited to learn and play. We couldn’t ask for a better place for her to grow!

If you’re thinking about enrolling your child here, think twice: especially if you don’t want to risk raising concerns out of fear your child could be affected. I say this with genuine disappointment because this school once felt exceptional. I chose Primrose because of the glowing reviews and constant praise from parent groups calling this the best daycare in the area. For a long time, I agreed. My family was happy, and the teachers were incredible. But somewhere along the way, something changed. I’ve spoken with many other parents to make sure I’m not the only one feeling this way, and sadly, the same concerns keep coming up. Here is what families are experiencing: 1. Leadership & Front Desk Culture The leadership , especially the front desk, often feels cold, dismissive, and transactional. During “present season,” when gift cards are given, interactions suddenly become warm… only to shift back within weeks. Questions tied to payments or programs that generate revenue get responses within an hour, yet basic concerns can take days, or never receive a reply at all. Refunds families are entitled to are delayed with excuses and “forgotten” for months, leaving parents exhausted from constant follow-ups. 2. Tuition Keeps Rising While Quality Feels Like It’s Falling The teachers are the main reason many of us are still here , yet many amazing educators have left recently, reportedly due to low pay. At the same time, tuition and registration fees continue to rise to almost nonsensical levels. School events have been reduced, enrichment feels lighter, and families are paying more than ever. For example, registering two kids for summer camp can cost around $1,500 in registration and field trip fees alone before the nearly $800 weekly tuition. 3. Decisions That Undermine Parent Trust During the recent snowstorm, while other Primrose franchises reopened, this location remained closed. Moments like this amplify the feeling that families’ needs come second. I also want to be honest: as a POC parent, I’ve noticed many of the parents raising similar concerns are also POC, which raises uncomfortable questions about inclusivity and whether all families feel equally respected. Many families want to believe in Primrose, but leadership needs to listen, support teachers, and treat every parent and children with respect. Do better.

This Primrose has been an absolute god-send for our family! My daughter has developmentally challenges, and the school has been incredibly compassionate, helpful, and kind through our journey. The front office staff is always willing to go above and beyond in making sure your child is in the best and safest environment. The teachers in every class have been incredible. Ms. Negar, Alehida, Venus, Devin, and Bennin have exemplified patience, grace, and determination to ensure our daughter has the best learning experience. My daughter wouldn't have made the wonderful progress without their help. We're so grateful for their continued collaboration and adoration they have for their kiddos. On top of all of that, the food that Chefy Ashley makes is just wonderful! Everything is healthy, fresh, and even my picky eater enjoys it. Overall, our experience has been amazing and couldn't recommend it enough!

My husband and I looked around at many schools in the area while I was pregnant with our daughter. We are so happy we chose Primrose West Allen. The communication and staff are wonderful. We know our daughter is in great hands while we’re at work and is having fun & learning. Ms. Nafiseh and Ms. Martha and the rest of the infant team is truly incredible with the kids. Thank you Primrose for taking great care of our child.
