- JMJared McCARLEYApr 21, 20251.0My child is currently enrolled at this school, and I must express my deep frustration with the unprofessionalism displayed by both the teachers and especiallythe principal Jennifer, Prince. I strongly advise parents to consider alternative options for their children's education if they value a supportive learning environment. I have reached out to seven different teachers and the principal for clarification on important issues. Despite my numerous calls, emails, and text messages, I have received no responses whatsoever. The school’s system is consistently faulty, resulting in students being improperly removed from classes. Teachers frequently miss their scheduled classes, and multiple students, including mine, have been unjustly kicked out due to systemic errors. Recently, the school claimed my child had 230 missed classes, suggesting she hadn’t attended school for months. This is absurd, as she is fully engaged in her lessons and can be verified by every teacher. Despite my ongoing discussions with teachers about the failing system that is impacting my child’s education, there has been no action taken to resolve these issues. I encourage any interested party to verify these concerns with other affected students. Changes must be made to ensure that no child is subjected to this level of neglect.

Customer service never could fully explain where I was at in the process and when I was told one thing it would turn out to not be true. Nadine, who is a manager kept telling me they don't request transcripts from previous school, but one of their guidance counselors did just that within 10 minutes of me emailing her. Nadine did not like that I pointed out that one of the Low country Connections Academy employees got my children's transcripts and records and she archived my application and removed all my uploaded documents to be spiteful. One last observation that I had made is that there is no call center like they say. I had spoken to two different reps who told me they worked from home with one having young children screaming and crying in the background which made it hard to hear her. I question the quality of education this school has to offer. Overall, I would recommend a much more knowledgeable and organized school- your children deserve that. We ended up going with Acellus and paying the $80 monthly fee and has been going great! They started the same day and we didn't have to jump through hoops for weeks with silliness and not knowing what is going on.
