Primrose School of Wexford is an accredited daycare located in the Sewickley area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, after school and summer programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
We cannot be happier with our experience at Primrose School Wexford! We did extensive research and decided to enroll our first child/first childcare experience at Primrose. The teachers are incredibly supportive—not just with the children, but with parents as well. They take the time to understand each family’s needs and truly partner with you on the growth of your child.
The environment is extremely clean and well-maintained, giving me total peace of mind that our daughter is being well taken care of. Communication is consistently excellent; the staff keeps us updated throughout the day via App and is always open, honest, and responsive.
What really stands out is how trustworthy and compassionate the caregivers are. Their empathetic approach to teaching creates a safe, nurturing atmosphere where children feel understood and valued. Our daughter enjoys going because it’s such a fun, engaging environment filled with learning and laughter.
I wholeheartedly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a place where children are cared for with professionalism, kindness, and joy.

I am fortunate to be able to pick my granddaughters up from Primrose on a regular basis. We are so glad the girls are able to be there. Everyone I encounter is friendly and thoughtful. The great care the children get is obvious. Every child appears happy to be there. I love the way each teacher brings their own personality to their work. The range of subjects that is impressive. The children learn respect for themselves and others. The children grow in independence during their time there. The safety precautions are readily apparent. I could not want a better place for my grandchildren.

Drove by to a child, probably about 2 years old, outside screaming and crying in the cold by herself while locked outside. I went inside to inform the staff, and they seemed as if they knew this was happening and didn’t care.

We have been through many child care schools for our kids but Primrose School of Wexford has by far been the best experience for us and our preK son. The single most important reason is that teachers are all personally invested in kids. You can clearly see that taking care of kids is their passion. We are very grateful to Ms.Ashely McBride who does an awesome job. The facility is very clean, organized, lot of open space for kids to play outside. Teachers are excellent and they did a great job in teaching PreK skills to our son. Overall, we recommend Primrose to everyone and parents can focus on their jobs without any stress related to their kids.
