Primrose School of Oaks is an accredited daycare located in the Phoenixville area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-kindergarten programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
My children started with the Primrose school of oaks shortly after they opened in October of 2024 in the infant room at 10 weeks old. My initial thoughts were that the new school was much different then the location we toured in Royersford. It felt a little clinical but we chalked it up to the fact that they were brand new and getting their legs and decided to give it a few months. In that time we had a few different teachers all of whom were good but we finally got set teachers and my daughters and myself really liked our teacher. The problems that persisted were issues with management.
In the little over a year we have been enrolled, there have been 4 set of directors. Initially I did like the first set of directors and when they left things seemed to get worse. While I was never concerned that my children were in danger I did worry about the constantly changing teachers, the seeming inexperience of the administrators and the seeming lack of warmth in the facility. The second set of directors did little to help with those fears and they honestly seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. The forth director I couldn’t comment on as she was only with the school for one day. We actually got on a few wait lists to move daycares and were ready to jump as soon as someone could accommodate a place for two in an infant room. Through all this time our only saving grace was that we all really loved their teachers Miss Jane, Miss Camryn and Miss Zoe.
Then finally the new directors were brought on, Michelle and Ambyre, and things have drastically changed since they arrived. The entire vibe of the school has greatly improved, there is consistent schedules for the teachers, the kids are doing so many more activities, they’re listening to parent concerns and suggestions, and it seems like every other day they’re brining something new to make the school better.
Just a couple months ago I would have told parents to look elsewhere but so long as everything stays the current course I am more than happy to recommend this school and no longer plan to move my children to a different school.

I am currently employed at Primrose School of Oaks and have been with this location vfor approximately one month, transitioning from my previous five-year tenure at another school. I am pleased to be part of such a fantastic team and to serve wonderful families. I look forward to continuing to contribute to the growth and success of our school.

I highly recommend this daycare for all ages. My son has been here since 6 months and now is 15 months and they have taken great care of him! They provide honest feedback and try to do what's best for your child which is hard to find in many places. The multiple playground areas, kind and caring staff is what sold us on this place.

The school is organized and clean, and the location is great. I love how they keep me updated on everything they're doing every day. I love the photos because they show my daughter having so much fun. I believe I made a good choice.

Our experience at Primrose School of Oaks was profoundly disappointing and raises serious concerns about child safety. The facility is plagued by mismanagement and inadequate staffing, exemplified by an 8/11 incident involving our daughter that was never formally communicated to us—we only learned of her bruised face at pickup. Even more troubling, we once arrived at 7:15 AM to find no staff present.
These incidents reflect a dangerous lack of oversight and accountability. Additionally, many positive Google reviews appear to come from Primrose staff or friends/family of the franchisee, casting doubt on their credibility. While the teachers are dedicated and blameless, the gross mismanagement by franchisee owner Ankit Patel at this location is unacceptable.
We have escalated our concerns to Primrose corporate and strongly urge a thorough investigation (DHS perhaps?). We cannot recommend this daycare nor the Cherry Hill NJ location to any parent prioritizing their child’s safety.
