I have a 1st grader and a 4th grader. Don't listen to all the one star reviews (they probably don't know how to work a computer). The admin helped me everyday to make sure my enrollment process went smoothly. This was my first year with them and I had transition from another online school and this one is my favorite by far. The classes are done online and you have to have an adobe account to use adobe connect. I've heard that some teachers use zoom though. The teachers are the best my kids have had. They're kind and they stay after class to help anyone with homework and they even add extra time out of class for tutoring. The curriculum is amazing. My 4th grade had learned the fundamentals of physics and basic biology. She even learned a lot about Native American history and did a report about them. They give you extra material in case your student needs more practice in an area so you can use. The homework is a bit heavy at first but it gets lighter mid way through the year. She never got behind and she also did extra stuff out of class like gymnastics, swim, soccer and football. There is time you just have to be organized in the beginning of the year (and look at their assignments at least the day before they look at them so you know what to do). The field trips were fun as well. My kids got to meet their classmates at parks and aquariums. I do wish they had a bit more field trips though. This is going to be my kids school until they choose otherwise.

Great curriculum and teachers but… Not meant for one parent with more than one young kid.
You definitely need more than one adult around to help because the homework is a lot to keep up with, better not have any work or hobbies either because keeping up homework and class work turns into a full time job.

staff were rude, i tried to call in to get the transcripts for my partner (18) since they had anxiety about calling and didnt know what to say. when i called only they were alowed to talk on the phone, and when i tried to give them the address they just hung up on us. they called back later and i had to write a script for my partner, then the lady on the phone continued to complain about me trying to help. they acted like robots the whole time saying "we either need the student or the mother" when the student had anxiety and their mother doesnt live with them. are there even people working here or are the automated?

quite literally the worst school I've ever attended. 10/10 do NOT put your child through this, there is absolutely any other option but this awful curriculum and careless staff.

Absolutely terrible organization where education is not the priority. This is a corporate operation that pretends to be a school district. No communication throughout COVID, and paperwork barriers to entry that no real school district creates. Received a sudden notification in mid-September that enrollment was over with no forewarning that this could happen, which could have allowed students to pursue alternate opportunities. A corporation runs the operations, with little accountability on the part of the school. No taxpayer dollars should go to this faux "public" school that does not serve students equally or communicate with transparency. Received the equivalent of shoulders shrugged to all concerns and inquiries. The education of the student is not the focus.
