Primrose School of Dublin is an accredited daycare located in the Dublin area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and after school programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
The Primrose School at Post Road is one of the best daycares in the area. We have 2 children here and we couldn’t be happier. The staff are friendly, gentle, courteous and very professional. They love all the kids and level of care and attention they receive is excellent. This location also has an onsite chef who painstakingly prepares a variety of tasty dishes for the kids for breakfast, lunch and snacks. The location itself is very well equipped to handle children of all ages (Infant - Kindergarten) and the staff does a great job in keeping the classrooms, corridors and play areas very clean and well maintained. The learning curriculum is superb, with a Montessori style of education (I’m not sure if it’s fully Montessori) that keeps the children mentally, emotionally and physically engaged and results in a beautiful learning experience. We experience notable changes every few weeks where our kids are always displaying something new they learned at school!
All of this is possible only because of a well staffed, well trained roster of teachers led by an experienced and highly skilled Director and her leadership team. Very knowledgeable and extremely capable individual whose qualities and values are reflected in the staff! You cannot go wrong with this pick. They’re worth every dollar!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this daycare. From day one, the staff have gone above and beyond to create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for our children. Not only do my kids love going every day—they absolutely adore their teachers and the entire staff. The warmth and positivity they receive is felt in every conversation and hug.
We’ve been blown away by how much they’re learning. They are not only thriving socially and emotionally, but they’re also ahead developmentally in so many areas. It’s clear the curriculum is thoughtful and effective, and the teachers truly care about each child’s growth.
It brings us so much peace of mind knowing they’re in a place where they are happy, challenged, and loved. We’re incredibly grateful to have found a daycare that feels like an extension of our family.

WARNING ⚠️ If I could give 0 starts I would. I had my baby on the waitlist for this location, but I soon realized after seeing various teachers in and out that the management here puts up a fake, polished image for parents to keep the business running, but behind the scenes, they say the nastiest and most disrespectful things about the babies and children in their care. They constantly judge and treat certain groups of children unfairly, creating a toxic and unstable environment. Many parents don’t realize it, but if you notice your child acting differently or struggling emotionally at home, it could be a direct result of the harmful atmosphere they experience here. Please think carefully before trusting this school with your child.

Our daughter has been at Primrose for a couple years and we’ve had a wonderful experience! The teachers, and all staff, are very caring and nurturing. I would recommend Primrose over other daycares in the area as we had tried others.
