  Howard Meyer’s acting program has really helped me to open up and tap into a creative side of myself. I started with no real experience and I love going to the classes and learn techniques and stretch my abilities.

  Howard Meyer's Acting Program is a safe and nurturing space to grow your craft. As an introverted extrovert, I searched for a space where I could be comfortable. I am forever grateful that I found HM Acting. I was plagued with severe stage fright and difficulty with public speaking prior to the coming to the program. I shared my fears when I signed up, and I was assured that I was in the right spot. From the first class, I was met with so much support, encouragement, and training. I was challenged to become aware of myself, my relationship with my sorroundings and others. Through this process I was able to release the guilt of taking up space and confront my fear of being seen. My instructors at HM Acting(Rachel Jones, Catherine Banks and Howard Meyer) have fostered the process of challenging the imposter syndrome and have pushed me to heights I never imagined. The student workshops were instrumental in boosting my confidence and giving me an outlet to share my own work. As a result, my acting and writing resume are growing. The relationships and friendships formed while here have filled my soul. The program has facilitated my own transition through the chrysalis. I am a beautifully expressive butterfly emerging from the cacoon. I am eternally grateful for that late night google search and taking a chance. That night I feared the stage, now I live for it.   Howard Meyer is a truly impactful and insightful acting teacher. I've studied with Howard for more than 12 years and the process of developing my craft through his teachings has been the most rewarding experience on many levels. With dedication and patience, and Howard's wisdom and deep knowledge of the craft, his classes have opened me up to professional opportunities and given me a trusted space to continue to work on my process as an actor. The community and friendships I've made while attending his program have been invaluable. If you are searching to be the best actor you can be in the safest environment to be vulnerable and open to the creative process, then join Howard's classes.

  HM Acting Program literally changed my life! Rachel and Howard brought out the best in me, not only as an aspiring actress, but as a human being. An incredible safe space to hone your craft and follow your dreams. I highly recommend this program for all ages! It’s never too late!
