Primrose School of Hugo is an accredited daycare located in the Hugo area that offers infant, toddler, preschool and pre-kindergarten programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
After 3.5 years at Primrose School of Hugo, I made the difficult decision to withdraw my children due to ongoing staff instability. During our time there, my daughter had over 15 different lead teachers, and my son (who attended for just 1.5 years) had 9. This constant turnover of both teachers and directors created a disruptive environment that negatively affected my children emotionally and educationally.
Communication from the school was consistently lacking. Staff changes were rarely communicated, leaving us unable to prepare our children for transitions. This lack of transparency points to deeper issues with leadership at Early Foundations, the franchise owner.
Since moving to a new daycare center, the difference has been striking. The staff is stable, the curriculum is stronger, and the overall experience is far more positive. I regret not making the change sooner.
I would not recommend Primrose School of Hugo. I urge Early Foundations to either bring in a capable leadership team or consider selling the center to someone who can provide the consistency and quality children deserve.

My daughter has had a wonderful time at Primrose Hugo. She is excited for school everyday at drop off and has a smile on her face during pickup. We have noticed great growth in our child since joining. Staff has always been respectful, polite, and responsive.
