We have been happy with Primrose, my son is learning so much and the atmosphere is great for him and me! Lots of community with the other parents in his class with lots of opportunities to gather in and outside of the classroom. My favorite thing about Primrose is the flexibility with pickup times.since they are open until 6pm I can pickup at anytime before 6; this comes in handy having three kids in three different schools-all with different dismissal times. My son would mycj rather be hanging in his classroom with his buddies than drive all around Louisville picking up his siblings. Highly recommend.

Our experience with Primrose started off on a positive note during my son’s first year (2-3 yo). His teachers were attentive, caring, and provided a strong foundation. Communication during that time was consistent, which gave me confidence as a parent.
Unfortunately, things shifted in his second year(3-4 yo). Communication noticeably declined, and his teachers seemed disengaged and unhappy to be there. The warmth and attentiveness we had come to expect were no longer present, and drop-offs often felt awkward, as if my child wasn’t being welcomed or valued the same way.
What was most concerning is that my son began to say it was “scary” to go to school. For a child to express that, it means something was happening that made him feel unsafe or uncomfortable, and that was heartbreaking for me as a parent.
This lack of connection, communication, and genuine care was disheartening and ultimately became the reason I chose to move my son to another school. For the cost of tuition, I expected more consistency and a nurturing environment. While we appreciated the strong start, the decline in quality during the second year made it clear that Primrose was no longer the right fit for us.

This is the best pre-school by far. We sent our son to two different daycare/ pre-schools prior to moving him to Primrose and wished we had moved him sooner. The teachers, staff, organization, curriculum, and even the food served to the kids is top notch quality! They have an app that gives you updates all day long about your child, plus pictures and videos. I can’t say enough good things about the school. The owners are there all the time interacting with the kids and parents and make you feel welcome! The staff truly cares about the kids and their education and making it fun! We drive a 40 minutes commute everyday so he can attend, and it’s well worth it. I really feel and know that my son will be well advanced when starting kindergarten!

As a first time mom, I was worried about leaving my daughter with “strangers” when I returned to work. My worry went away when Anne Almond answered the phone when I called inquiring about Primrose School of East Louisville. My husband and I toured the school and immediately signed up for when I returned to work. We were welcomed with open arms by all of the staff. My daughters loved going to school there and learned so much. I could not believe my daughter would be potty trained before age 2 but she was because the teachers are so fabulous! We recently relocated to another city and miss our Louisville Primrose family dearly. Thankfully, we were able to enroll in another Primrose in our new city because I cannot imagine my girls going anywhere else.

You will never regret this. It is the greatest decision you can make for your child. The care is excellent. The staff is excellent. The result is excellent. I would be happy to answer questions for people. My child went here for several years and I couldn't be be an happier w the outcome.
