Highly recommend Primrose. They provide a truly caring staff! They keep my child engaged and her development seems to have skyrocketed since enrolling a few months ago. The curriculum is structured and stimulating. The building is clean, it’s a professional environment, staff takes into consideration and addresses parental concerns, and safety protocols are maintained.

We have had such a wonderful experience with Primrose School of East Louisville. From day one, we felt confident and comfortable knowing our baby was in such loving, capable hands.
The teachers (and support staff) in the infant room were incredibly nurturing and attentive. They took the time to really get to know our child’s personality and needs, and they communicated with us every step of the way. It was clear from the beginning that this was a true partnership in our child’s development, which is invaluable as a first time parent.
The level of engagement from the staff has consistently exceeded our expectations. The teachers (and support staff) are not only warm and caring, but they also create a fun, stimulating environment that encourages exploration and growth. We’ve loved seeing the developmental milestones our child has reached, and we know so much of that progress is thanks to the intentional learning experiences and individual attention provided at Primrose.
What stands out the most is how happy our child is when we bring her to school and the immediate engagement with the teachers. She always smiles at drop-off when we hand her to one of her teachers and they are engaged in the conversation about when our child ate last, how she slept the night before, and how her attitude was that morning before coming to school so they know how to best care for her that day. Starting each day off like this is priceless for a parent – knowing your child is safe, happy and learning is exactly what I would expect from a place like Primrose, and they deliver.
We are incredibly grateful for the role Primrose has played so far in the growth and development of our child and cannot recommend Primrose School of East Louisville enough!

Our experience with Primrose started off on a positive note during my son’s first year (2-3 yo). His teachers were attentive, caring, and provided a strong foundation. Communication during that time was consistent, which gave me confidence as a parent.
Unfortunately, things shifted in his second year(3-4 yo). Communication noticeably declined, and his teachers seemed disengaged and unhappy to be there. The warmth and attentiveness we had come to expect were no longer present, and drop-offs often felt awkward, as if my child wasn’t being welcomed or valued the same way.
What was most concerning is that my son began to say it was “scary” to go to school. For a child to express that, it means something was happening that made him feel unsafe or uncomfortable, and that was heartbreaking for me as a parent.
This lack of connection, communication, and genuine care was disheartening and ultimately became the reason I chose to move my son to another school. For the cost of tuition, I expected more consistency and a nurturing environment. While we appreciated the strong start, the decline in quality during the second year made it clear that Primrose was no longer the right fit for us.

In my opinion, this was not a good fit for my child, and I would not recommend it. The tuition is high, but in our case, it did not lead to the quality of education or care we expected. While the curriculum itself seemed strong, I personally observed classroom management styles that I felt were overly loud and intimidating for some children, including mine.
In my child’s class, I noticed that a few children—those who were struggling more with speech or other developmental skills—were sometimes seated apart from the main group during activities like breakfast, lunch, and circle time. From my perspective as a parent, this separation did not seem to support their social or language development. When I raised my concerns with the administration, I was told it was done to prevent disruptions to the rest of the class. I disagreed with that approach and felt it was not in my child’s best interest.
Since moving my son to a different school 10 months ago, I’ve seen major improvements. His speech is now on track for his age, he participates in sports, and he swims very well for a 4-year-old. Most importantly, he’s happy, social, and thriving.

We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and attention our toddler receives at Primrose. From the moment he walks in every morning, it's clear that he's comfortable and excited to be there. The teachers are nothing short of amazing, and we truly appreciate the way they foster his creativity and learning. His development has flourished in their care, and we love seeing his progress each day. The frequent photographs and updates give us peace of mind and help us stay connected to his day. Above all, we deeply value how Primrose has built his confidence and supported his socialization with peers. We couldn’t be happier with the care he’s receiving, and we are so thankful for the wonderful team at Primrose!
