  I've had an excellent experience with The Krupnick Approach! The tutoring is specifically tailored to your needs and the tutors are extremely helpful! I was a part of the High Jump Program, and the partnership between Krupnick and High Jump was excellent. I felt much more confident in taking the ACT after working with them, and I noticed clear improvement in my performance. I would strongly recommend The Krupnick Approach to any student searching for meaningful test prep!

  I had a phenomenal experience with the Krupnick Approach 2 week ACT prep Summer program, which I had the opportunity to participate in as an alumni of the HighJump program. The practice was incredibly effective and helped me focus on exactly what I needed to improve instead of spending time on areas I already knew. The weekly practice tests closely mirrored the actual ACT, which made me feel confident and prepared on test day. Additionally, participating in the program was free and did not require any additional fees. The tutors working with the Krupnick Approach were very dedicated to helping us succeed and during every session they would use data from the most missed questions on the practice tests to give us targeted feedback. When I took the ACT two months after completing the program and with the test taking skills imparted on me by the tutors, I scored 3 points higher than my practice test scores. The program also offered the opportunity to visit the Chicago branch of the CNA. During this visit, I was given a chance to meet and speak with different members of the CNA team and ask them about their experiences. Additionally, we were given the chance to participate in a building exercise that related directly back to insurance and we were also given a tour of the building. I’m extremely grateful for both the Krupnick Approach and HighJump as they allowed me to meet new like-minded people my age, as well as utilize helpful testing strategies. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking for fast, meaningful improvement on the ACT and a plethora of other opportunities to learn about colleges and careers.

  This was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered. Joe Krupnick gives a really “hard sell” and an unusually short deadline to accept his services. He told me that “we would hit the ground running” and have a session the same week, but nothing was scheduled until 25 days later, which left no time for any improvement or agreed continuous sessions before the scheduled ACT test (all which was discussed in great detail prior to committing). His excuses were that they were “really busy” and one of his instructors was having a baby, for reasons why we couldn’t get scheduled for the paid for/time sensitive sessions. In my opinion, this company should be called the “Crooknick Approach”, as they take your money without delivering the expected point increase that’s posted on their website. We were promised a 3-4 point improvement from the last official ACT score and only received an embarrassingly low 1/2 point increase. When discussing, they kept referring to their “mock” test scoring which had nothing to do with the baseline official composite score we were trying to improve on. Also discussed prior was the importance of not having any zoom or virtual sessions due to personal covid experiences and needing only in-person sessions. The importance of this detail was cavalierly dismissed, disregarded and scheduled anyhow without my approval. They are quick to take your money and not deliver what was promised. I tried to resolve this both professionally and amicably for months, but instead, they chose to waste time going back and forth and did resolve satisfactory. Shameful.

  We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Krupnick’s program. Our child scored in the 99th percentile in both the Reading and Math sections of the HSAT, and we truly believe the Krupnick approach played a major role in that success. Joe’s personalized attention, thoughtful guidance, and ability to adapt to our child’s learning style made a meaningful difference. The instruction is well-structured, the materials are strong, and the overall environment is both supportive and motivating. We are very grateful for the care and effort the entire team puts into helping each student reach their potential. We plan to return in the future for continued preparation, including for college readiness. Highly recommend!

  My family is so grateful for Joe Krupnick and his team. We reached out to The Krupnick Approach for ACT prep for my son, particularly wanting to improve his math score. It took a few tries to find the most effective math tutor, but Joe was always willing to listen and troubleshoot to find the right fit. Andrew Kletzien was phenomenal for math! My son’s math score went up 8 points from his initial test! Cameron Gong for Science and Mark Edwards for English/Reading were very helpful also. My son ended up with a perfect score in English. Overall, his composite score went up 6 points from a 26 to a 32!! This composite score exceeded our initial expectations. I think what sets Krupnick apart is the help around strategy and test tips in addition to tutoring subject content. My son is a senior, and we’re hopeful the return on our investment in The Krupnick Approach will be seen in college offers and opportunities.
