As both a parent and an educator, I could not be more in love with Primrose! My son absolutely adores the teachers in both of the infant rooms. He learns something new every week and his development has improved so much in a short amount of time. I was quite nervous as he is my first and I had not been exposed to a curriculum based center before but I would not trade his place at Primrose for anything! He's learning to interact with both and other kiddos and it's doing wonders!
The same feelings extend to my own place in the classroom. Primrose made sure that I had all the necessary training, certifications and safety awareness necessary for the job and then some! Knowing that other teachers were and are taught to the same extent makes me feel even more comfortable and at home at this center. Primrose has become an official and huge part of our family and I could not be happier.

The transition we’ve had to Primrose in the past year has been a game changer for my daughter and we were so confident when our son was born that Primrose would be the best choice and have not been disappointed. The toddler rooms, preschool, and infant room has impressed us with the daily activities they do and the care that teachers and admins have for the children!

We enjoy our experience with two kiddos at Primrose, especially having transferred from another center we weren’t pleased with. It’s structured yet has a familial feel and my children truly enjoy attending! Even for the infant levels they keep them engaged and doing all of the sensory and art activities!

We are so pleased with Primrose; the teachers and admins, the chef, the curriculum, all make such a rich environment. When looking for daycares, I was sold on the education philosophy and that it’s driven by the latest research, that they’ve never had to close due to staff shortages, and the teachers don’t have personal phones in the rooms. The teachers do a fantastic job connecting with each child and I appreciate their ratios are lower than the state requirement. Our daughter learns so much every day, the teachers are great about updates and pictures through the app. We are excited for our second child to start in a couple weeks and the teachers are also excited to meet him.

Our son has been enrolled at Primrose since he was just 12 weeks old and it has been a wonderful experience. As first time parents, we were struggling to find a center that we felt comfortable with and we immediately felt at ease when touring Primrose of Urbandale. The owners are very attentive and work very hard to provide the best care and communication for the families at the center. Our son is thriving and we love all of his teachers and caregivers.
