  We had a very mixed experience at Primrose School at Lakewood Ranch North. The facility itself is outstanding. The building is modern, clean, and clearly well-funded. From a physical standpoint, it’s one of the nicest early education environments in the area. The teachers, especially Miss Timms and Miss Banks, were exceptional. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children. They created positive daily experiences for our child, and we are truly grateful for their dedication. Unfortunately, the administrative experience significantly detracted from the overall quality. Scheduling felt inconsistent and at times disorganized. Communication lacked transparency, and when we asked reasonable questions, responses often came across as dismissive or unnecessarily arrogant rather than collaborative. Another major concern was class size. The group size changed drastically over time, with additional children being added without prior notice. While we understand that enrollment fluctuates, the continued increase felt excessive and, at times, driven more by numbers than classroom balance. As the groups grew, the environment felt more chaotic and, at times, understaffed relative to the number of children present. That was especially concerning given the tuition level. Families should know that while the facility and teachers are strong, the administrative and classroom management experience may not align with expectations.

  Teachers are extremely friendly and welcoming. My little one runs inside daily, happy to see his friends and teachers, who welcome him (and me!) by name. The admin team is knowledgeable, professional, and helpful, with clear commitment to running a quality program. I love getting pictures and updates throughout the day to show what my child is learning! Since starting, his vocabulary has flourished! We couldn’t imagine not being a Primrose family!

  As a mom of a bilingual child, I really appreciate how attentive they are in making sure my child feels included, supported, and fully integrated. The teachers are patient, understanding, and respectful of language differences, which has made a big positive impact on my child’s confidence and learning.

  My children love going to school and seeing their teachers at Primrose. The school is super clean and teachers are caring.
