Thank you for the loving care that our kiddo has received since he started as an infant. In particular, we'd like to thank Amber, Kyra, Kayla, Sarah, Chellie, Jenn, Mackenzie, Mary, Fae, and Brenda! You have each made an impact on our son :)

We have sent both of our boys to Primrose and have nothing but great things to say about the teachers, support staff, and administrators. They have always created a welcoming environment and maintain a high level of professionalism but also a warmth that gives you confidence that they care about your little boy or girl. For example, the whole team is aware and conscientious about our sons multiple food allergies but always look to be inclusive when there are food related celebrations.
We tried another daycare nearby and it did not come close in terms of programming, care, flexibility, cleanliness, or staff support. Amber and her team have been fabulous for us.

We absolutely love Primrose at Torrey Peaks! Both of our children—a curious 3-year-old and our little 1-year-old—have thrived in this nurturing and engaging environment. The staff is incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, creating a safe and stimulating space where kids can learn, explore, and grow every day.
From the thoughtful curriculum to the fun, hands-on activities, it’s clear that every detail is designed with children’s development in mind. We’ve seen our kids gain confidence, make new friends, and genuinely enjoy coming to school. Communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel included in their milestones and daily adventures.
We couldn’t ask for a better preschool experience and highly recommend Primrose at Torrey Peaks to any family looking for a place where their little ones can flourish!

Picking a daycare was scary. My wife and I were completely new to this and truthfully, we were hoping to have our child attend a different place. We lucked out when Primrose accepted us in March 2025. Amber (Director) and Kyra were awesome onboarding us. Our child was pretty resistant for a month or so but Ms. Brenda and Ms. Jasmine were absolutely wonderful in the toddler room. I am pretty sure our child required a little extra attention because he wasn't the best at napping or eating... it honestly improved after a few months with Brenda and Jasmine. Our child has transitioned to early preschool (2.5 years and up) and it went much better than anticipated. Ms. Amber (teacher), Ms. Brooke, and Ms. Madison have been everything we needed and more. They are practically potty training for us...

We have been at this Primrose for almost 5 years now, both kids having attended, and were at a different primrose before that when we lived elsewhere. Our oldest did very well in the school but graduated more than two years ago. Our youngest has been enrolled for two years and seen many classrooms as they have grown. The last year has been disappointing to say the least.
There have been numerous staff and leadership turnover over and from what I can only believe to be a culture that influences the negative habits demonstrated by teachers and leadership. We have had days where we are asked to sign multiple incident reports with no discussions to prevent them from happening again. And then they do happen, again and again and again. The patterns over numerous classrooms imply the care givers are not being attentive enough to the children. It would be reasonable to assume that after a child has been in a class for a while, the “teachers” would understand how to best care for those students and what particulars may require heighten attention given. I would get 0 impressions that these teachers want improve the conditions of their classrooms for the safety of the children.
We also see a trend where the staff find any reason to send the kids home early. Getting calls when they are “excessively fussy” and need to be picked up. There are holiday events planned at 3pm where parents are expected to be present (and passive-aggressively shamed if they are not), essentially requiring you to take your kids home before the typical closing time at 5:30pm. These events occur often and with little advanced notice. This shaming culture is incredibly stressful for working parents and creates a situation where the kids can feel excluded or left out. Other care facilities plan similar community building events but with start times closer to the end of the day, not 2.5 hours before the end of the day.
To top it all off, we recently gave notice that we were un-enrolling our youngest due to the above mentioned safety concerns and before her last day they performed developmental assessments. The comments and reported progress were very misaligned from the developmental milestones we witness. I can only assume that the person performing the assessment doesn’t spend much time with our youngest or was intentionally reporting below development actuals as a CYA for their records, knowing we are displeased with the care provided.
The school was put on probationary status earlier this year, which makes sense for many of the above listed experiences. They took an excessively long time to notify parents and were guarded with the information they were willing to share about the probation terms. Our history with this school encouraged us to try and stick it out while they worked through their challenges, but we hit our limit. It’s saddening that the experience ended like this when our oldest thrived in this environment, but years passed and the school has changed for the worse.
