Primrose School of Denver North is an accredited daycare located in the Denver area that offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten, kindergarten and after school programs. For over 40 years Primrose preschools has been a trusted household name and a nationally recognized daycare provider committed to forging a path that leads to a brighter future for all children.
We had a very disappointing experience with the waitlist process at Primrose. When we joined, we were told a spot would likely open for our daughter when she was between 12 and 15 months old (i got on the waitlist at 5 months pregnant). She is now 3.5 years old. Over that time, we received no meaningful updates on her position, and when we followed up—including a written request to be removed and refunded nearly a year ago—we were ignored.
What’s even more concerning is the lack of transparency around how the waitlist was managed. It’s difficult to believe our place was held fairly for 4 years without being bypassed. When a spot was finally offered, it was long past the point of relevance for our family.
Unfortunately, it feels as though the waitlist fee is being used as a revenue stream rather than a good-faith deposit. Families are charged without being given realistic timelines or any assurance of an eventual placement. This practice is not just frustrating—it’s deeply misleading.
Families deserve honest communication and transparency when making important decisions about their child’s care. We did not find that here.

Our daughter loves it here! She’s always happy to go to school. She enjoys the structure, loves the curriculum (she loves teaching us what she learned every day 😆) and the meals/snacks from Chef Anthony have really helped her branch out with her food. Her teachers are also great and have been so helpful with us getting her potty trained. Definitely recommend.

My daughter has been at this school since around the time it opened and my son for a couple years now. Starting a new school and getting a rhythm is not easy and there have been ups and downs and challenges, but that's realistically the case with any organization. My kids have had some truly incredible teachers (Ms. Sadaah, Ms Aja, Ms Nay, Ms Maliha, Chef Anthony and now Ms Laura to name a few). They care deeply about the kids and their jobs. They have a great balance between play and education and are focused on emotional development and guidance, not obedience or punishment. I am confident my kids are learning tools and ways of thinking that will help set them up for success in Kindergarten and beyond. I'm grateful for the teachers and all that the management does to run the school and continue improving and navigating inevitable changes (from starting a new school to adapting during COVID to managing staff turnover). Thank you for your care and dedication.
