I just got a spa pedicure. When the girl took me back I then had to wait for her to set up and get organized. She was definitely not prepared. I hit my two big toes at home causing them to break. I asked her to cut or file them even she and the instructor refused. I left with big jagged big toenails. The polishing she did was terrible she kept hitting the light for the gel polish against my nails and smudging the polish. When she put the wax on my feet after she polished them. I have always had the wax treatment first then polish. She left wax all over my feet. When I got home I had to cut and file my nails and clean the wax off. She said she was graduating in February I thought to myself OMG. I know it cheap and they are learning but come on and I’m surprised at the instructor she said “they look great” I have no idea what she was thinking. The girl who did my eyebrows was wonderful and did a excellent job.

I went in to have my hair washed and blow dried. I had a recent surgery and can’t really do my own hair so I figured this would be a good option. The stylist did a good job washing my hair, but the blow dry was another story. He didn’t even dry all of my hair. I ended up with so much product in my hair that it looked like a greasy mess on top. The bottom half looked great and was dried, but the entire top of my head and scalp was wet. It felt so gross and I was so sad at the end result. The main issue I took from this was the instructors. After the stylist was finished, he walked me out and we stopped for his instructor to sign off on my hair. The instructor didn’t even look at me and just signed off on my hair. I expected the instructor to say something and correct the student, but nope. When I paid at the front desk they did offer to have a different stylist fix it but at that point I had already been there for an hour for a wash and blow dry. I left so disappointed and ended up having to wash my hair at home later that night to get all of the stuff out of it and actually dry my hair. I get it’s priced low, but how can these students be learning if the instructors don’t even notice that I left with wet hair?

Pretty disappointed. I understand it’s cheap and they’re learning but both my hair and nails look bad. I wanted my hair thinned properly as it’s really thick. She offered to thin it more than the teacher did but that was after saying she was in a rush to pick up a family member. So not only did I not want to hold her back but also didn’t want her rushing with my hair. So now it’s super thick and blunt. :(
Then on my pedicure the girl kept adding globs of glitter paint one on top of the other without letting it dry in between. I told her it looked too chunky and she said it’s because of the glitter. No it’s because you aren’t letting the layers dry. Glitter will add a little chunk of course but her technique was bad and rushed as well. I’m plenty old enough to know how nail polish works. Then the wax burned the living heck outta me. Everyone was nice though so that’s good but I’m really disappointed in my services.

I came in for a haircut. My stylist Holly was very professional and made sure every step was what I wanted. She was very personable and not bad to look at. I would ask for her everytime. Thank you Holly.
