  Just wanted to give a shout out to Beth and the Stone Creations staff. Beth went up and beyond to help us find the right granite slab for our counters. Her knowledge to help find the right stone for our kitchen was incredible. She also helped with choosing our backsplash and grout to make sure things all matched. We are so very happy!!! So happy to have shopped local. Well done Stone Creations. A great asset to Shawano and NE Wisconsin.

  We recently had Stone Creations complete granite installations for both our kitchen and outdoor kitchen, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive to every detail. The quality of the granite itself is exceptional—beautiful, durable, and exactly what we envisioned. What impressed us most was their craftsmanship and precision during installation. Every edge, seam, and finish was flawless, and the team went above and beyond to ensure the final product exceeded our expectations. Communication throughout the project was seamless, and they made the entire process easy and stress-free. We are beyond happy with our new spaces and would highly recommend Stone Creations to anyone looking for top-tier granite and exceptional service.

  We have mixed feelings. Most importantly, the end result is very nice. We selected soapstone - and this is the 4th soapstone counter we’ve put into a place - we know the material and its idiosyncrasies well. The original slab we selected was on site in Shawano - a beautiful piece of stone and an easy selection for us. However, they informed us it broke upon fabrication. Even though we were greatly disappointed, we understood as it’s a natural material. So, we drove to StoneX in Milwaukee to pick another piece of soapstone. A piece we liked, though not as much as the original selection. We found out later that the new material was more expensive than the piece that broke. While I didn’t think that was our problem, Stone Creations said it would be another $900. After some back and forth, we agreed to a $600 upcharge but it left a poor taste in our mouth for the interaction. In their defense, they offered to refund our otherwise non-refundable deposit. So we proceeded, particularly because I suspect they took a hit on the broken piece. Now that the counters are in (and kudos to the installers who had a late night getting our project in and did a really nice job) - we discovered that fabrication did not properly drill for the faucet we selected. Fortunately, we will be able to drill the additional holes on site to make it work - but this is a miss that requires more time and money. On balance, I would give them 2.5 stars - slightly below average for our overall experience. Interestingly, I would still rate them above another large, well known fabricator out of Plover where both the fabrication and install were subpar. I like to leave positive reviews whenever possible. It is rare that I leave a mixed (or negative) review. But it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to leave a glowing review here given the circumstances. Fortunately, I suspect our experience here is an outlier. I’m upgrading this review to 4 stars. Stone Creations noted their miss on the missed drilled hole for the faucet and expressed a desire to make it right - and do so quickly. They came back out (a 2+ hour drive) and made it right. Certainly have to commend them for very good customer service. So, what was a slightly below average experience has been upgraded to a better than average experience and I wanted to publicly recognize that.
