My experience with House of Stone was phenomenal. I can easily give five stars. Brenda was very personable, patient, kind, thoughtful as well as knowledgeable about interior design and how different pieces of granite and other stone would blend with existing cabinets. I actually miss working with her. The employee who put the granite in the home was equally as efficient. I placed new granite and quartzite in three different bathrooms. I absolutely love the pieces I chose. I went to many different places around the Milwaukee metro area and chose House of Stone due to their ample supply and good prices.
Thank you House of Stone !

What is the difference between marble and granite?
While both are stones and are quarried from the earth, marble and granite are very different from each other.
Granite is formed deep in the Earth’s mantle at extremely high temperatures. It is a very resistant and hard stone made of crystallized minerals.
Marble, onyx, limestone, and travertine are a part of the marble family and begin as sediment. Marble can stain more easily than granite. Marble is commonly used in bathroom vanities and fireplaces.
