- TKTonya Kleinert4 days ago5.0I had Lemke Fence out many years ago to put a chain link fence around my back yard and, since then, the fence has been hit twice...once by a humongous motor home and again by a massive piece of track equipment my tree trimmers use. Both times the fence won. The top rail pulled slightly out of the cup that holds it to the pole and I've been able to push it back in both times. The fence is fabulous! I bet it wins again if it's ever hit again. I plan to call this team in spring when can get something put up in the front.

The competitor was much cheaper so I went with them and I think it will work fine. When I compared my old 10 foot Lemke gate with my new 14 foot competitor gate, the quality of the materials was very obvious. The Lemke gate was clearly of thicker metal and sturdier. Hopefully I do not regret my decision over the years. Even though I did not buy the replacement gate from Lemke, the staff I worked with were great with and I'd probably purchase a new fence from them if I ever buy a different house.
