In 1946, after serving his country in WWII, Clarence Schnorenberg started working for Udell Koch as a flooring installer. Eight years later, in 1954, Clarence purchased Koch's Cash Store from Udell. Clarence was a talented flooring installer and a natural at business. In 1969 he moved the business, now named Schnorenbergs Floor Covering, to its current location. In 1980 Clarence incorporated the business with his sons Jim and Gerry and then in 1988 sold the rest of his stock to his sons. With Jim retiring in 2018, Gerry's son Matt Schnorenberg stepped into the roll of vice president and Gerry becoming president of the company. Jim, Gerry, and now Matt strive to maintain the great service and value to their customers that is the tradition Clarence started in 1954.

Michelle was always super helpful with making selections and walking us through our options based on what we wanted. Gerry was the same and was great to work with on install. Matt was great for scheduling and had come out to help replace a damaged plank 1 1/2 years after install. Pricing is upfront and there are lots of options! They’re not pushy but will help guide you when you have questions. They’re all super knowledgeable as well!

We have used Schnorenberg to replace every bit of flooring in our house. We also had then put in the flooring when we finished the lower level. Everything has been great. We've had both carpet and vinyl laminate installed. We've always had a great experience from selecting the flooring to installation. Everyone is always professional, friendly, and installation is prompt and done well. I highly recommend them. A great locally owned business.
