  I’ve used Boldt’s a few times for various repairs, issues, and to move my water heater during a basement construction project. I’ve always been very happy with the service delivered and professionalism of everyone I’ve interacted with. Highly recommend them if you need something checked out!

  Boldts sent someone out to unclog the main drain in our basement. I specifically asked the technician if I needed to move anything out of the way (including the rug in our laundry area) to which he said no. Afterwards, there was black water that we were unable to remove from our rug and we had to throw it out. When we were billed, I contacted Boldts asking for a $49.99 credit for the rug, given I specifically asked if it was at risk. I never heard back and was sent to collections. I contacted Boldts once sent to collections and was told they received my email, reached out to the technician and he said “it was dirty before.” It was not, I have photo evidence with dates of a spotless brand new rug before he came and then covered in black water after the service. When I told the Boldts about the incident and evidence I was hit with, “well these guys know what they’re doing and it is a messy job.” Ok, so why would the tech not tell me to move the rug when I specifically asked. When I went to pay I was told Boldts “lost half when it went to collections so all we can offer is to waive the 4% credit card fee,” but then was charged the full amount. We were sent to collections WITHOUT responding to my email. One response and I would have settled the bill but instead there was zero communication or acknowledgment of my email and we were sent directly to collections which takes a hit on your credit. I really love supporting local business and it was a bummer to have a skilled technician not warn someone who has no clue about plumbing to move valuable things FAR AWAY from the site of work, lie about the aftermath then have the company not only not respond, but then send to collections and say too bad so sad, we don’t want to view your evidence and we don’t care. Poor customer service and less than satisfactory experience with the business office.
