    I researched and shopped and YouTubed electric vehicle charging options. There was not a clear path to a successful decision. I was looking for a quality EV charging solution, installed correctly, and in the event I had trouble, someone who would be there to solve a problem, if there was one. I have seen too often the finger pointing of blame - you bought the wrong part, we only install it, and so on. No, I was looking for someone who would own the installation start to finish. Most of my research would have me buy a EV charging product from Amazon, or Ford or Tesla, (etc.). Then, I would need to contract with an electrician to install it. There were many negative reviews on virtually every charging system out there. One example is there is a top selling brand of chargers that advertise high charging speeds, but physically can't be wired safely to deliver the advertised charging rate. That's why I wanted an expert to not only install the system, I wanted them to provide it as well. Electric Smith was able to provide a top brand - Pulsar WallBox Plus and they installed it for $500 to $1000 less than the ballpark numbers that I used to form a budget. The charger worked perfectly from day one, and there was never an issue that needed to be solved - but if there was I'm certain they would have been there to help. Thanks Electric Smith! Edit 6/25/2024 How ironic that I had no more finished the original review (nearly two months after purchasing and installing the Wallbox charger) and posted it, that I would go out to the car and unplug it and have red error LED's on the Wallbox charger. I could have called Electric Smith immediately and the end result would have been the same, but I thought I would try what I could to solve this without calling them out to look at it My troubleshooting started with google searches and the Wallbox website. **Most importantly, It was not recommended to plug it back into the car.** I tried cycling power in various ways including overnight as well as some reset options in the Wallbox app. Did not solve it. Next, I called Wallbox support to see if they had a suggestion. They were able to see the Wallbox on the Internet and they tried power cycling and resetting to factory defaults. When that failed, they escalated the case to Wallbox engineers who quickly determined it needed to be replaced and a new one was shipped out within a couple of days. Meanwhile I contacted Electric Smith who offered to get a replacement from their local distribution and get someone out to swap it and handle the return on the back end. Had I been in a situation of needing this ASAP (I simply went back to my 110V mobile charger that came with the car and it kept me going.), we could have done it that way. Since I already had a replacement shipment coming, I decided to not have them replace it - rather I would wait for the replacement and call them to come and install it. The new unit arrived in just a couple of days - on the weekend. I emailed my Electric Smith rep and he got back to me on Monday. Late morning Tuesday I had a tech here to replace the unit. Wallbox sent me a return label and after updating my review, I am heading to the FED Ex drop off depot. In conclusion, I was was very happy before my unit stopped working correctly. But after this experience I am glad I made the choices I made. In every way Wallbox and Electric Smith were there for me when I needed them. What more can one ask?

    Not sure what business model that will send someone out to do an estimate, and then not do the estimate, no further communication. I used them in the past and they were OK but cannot get them to return a call Update: I got a return call and we set up a time to do the work, I must say the guy they sent to do the estimate with the only one of three that seemed to know what he was talking about, maybe i was a little impatient when I did not get a quick response, all trades are a little overwhelmed right now.
