Wow, if I could give Equipped Painting more than 5 stars I would. This is one of the few companies that I have encountered that work as a team. I first contacted Daniel and explained the urgency of my project as we were closing on our home. He immediately got me set up with Mitchell to discuss the scope of work. Sophia the operations manager contacted me to confirm the job, then created a group chat so that all parties including the painter, were involved and aware of what was going on.
Mauricio was my painter. Let’s just say he added another layer of an already cohesive operation. He showed up on time, was very polite and professional. Mauricio was very meticulous in his work, updating me as he progressed. He covered items in the pantry and protected the floors. He even put painters tape on the edge of the counter where the cord rested that was plugged in. These are the kind of things that I notice because it said that he respected our home, and ensured that everything was properly protected.
Mauricio did an awesome job! The repair blended seamlessly with the existing ceiling. He discussed every step with me, showed me pictures at every stage and forwarded them to me for my records.
I have worked with painting companies before and I can honestly say that Equipped Painting is on a whole different level. They are professional, they communicate with you in a timely manner and their painter did an excellent job. I highly recommend this company.

We hired Equipped Painting to paint the exterior of our house this year, and it was an overall very positive experience. Mitchell (the owner) runs a tight operation, and the quality of the work, communication, flexibility, and follow-through all stood out.
We received our initial bid in late February 2025 and spent a few months evaluating other vendors before deciding to move forward in May. Painting started in late June and wrapped up in July.
One of the main reasons we chose Equipped was that they didn’t seem intimidated by the amount of prep our cedar shingle siding house needed, unlike some other vendors we spoke with. And our house truly needed a lot of prep—the house hadn’t been painted in decades and was flaking badly in many areas. This was not a standard Seattle MCM or lap-siding house! After the house tested positive for lead paint, the crew handled this carefully: everything was thoroughly masked, paint chips were collected so they didn’t contaminate the garden, and there was a full priming round to encapsulate the old paint before applying the new body color. This is super important for cedar siding since the tannins are definitely going to bleed through if the wood isn’t properly primed. A good paint job always comes down to prep, and I was very happy with the amount of work that went into this phase.
For day-to-day communication, we had a text chain with Mitchell and the painters, which made it easy to ask questions or flag things in real time. Most days there was a crew of two (sometimes three), and they kept a very tidy worksite. All bagged trash was disposed of at the end of the job.
We hadn’t finalized our paint color when work started, and the crew was flexible—painting multiple sample swatches around the house so we could see them in different light throughout the day.
They also worked around our schedule as we scrambled to finish a handful of exterior carpentry upgrades. Even though this added complexity, it never felt like a problem. For example, when replacement elbow brackets were delayed several weeks in delivery (Architecture Depot has great solid wood replacements, though delivery can get delayed – be aware), the crew came back later to paint them and complete final touch-ups once they were installed.
After the job wrapped, we asked the crew to return a few times to address small issues like paint drips and a handful of spots where the incorrect paint was used. They were responsive and timely in addressing everything we raised. I’d strongly recommend taking advantage of the final walkthrough and clearly communicating anything you want adjusted-they were very receptive. I was in the thick of a rough first trimester of pregnancy at the time, which made this harder, but nothing I flagged was dismissed or ignored.
The final result completely transformed the exterior of our house, and we wish we hadn’t waited so long before deciding to take the plunge. The pricing was fair for the level of prep and care involved, and the end result reflects that.

Will continue to recommend Equipped Painting to friends, family, and anyone in need of residential and/or commercial painting - both interior and exterior. No project is too small or too big for them.
They have also helped a few of my own business clients and they all have nothing but praises and amazing feedback!
Best prices, quality service, and prompt responses!
Even during the holidays, Mitchell himself was able to squeeze an estimate appointment with me less than 24 hours after inquiry on a residential project.
They offer free no-obligation consultation if necessary!
We had a great experience with Equipped Painting. In addition to repairing our damaged ceiling after we accidentally stepped through it, they also helped repair and paint several of our walls. Everything turned out beautifully—you can’t tell there was ever any damage. The team was very professional, friendly, and easy to work with. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left the space clean. We’re very happy with the results and would highly recommend Equipped Painting.
