- FRFrances RyderAug 8, 20235.0We have used Reliable Floor Coverings Inc in Edmonds 3 times in the past month. The in store personnel Chris & Amanda were friendly & helpful as we tried to decide on what we wanted & they have flooring samples to take home. Joe who came out to measure & do the bids was on time, friendly, asked pertinent questions and the bids accurately reflected what was to be done. First- Chris installed a new vinyl floor in our main bathroom after taking out a chunk of old damaged sub flooring & replacing it with new. Second- Bill came out and sanded/refinished our dining room and hall floors with a Swedish Finish. Third- Chris came back and installed a new living room carpet for us. They both have been doing flooring for years and know what they’re doing. They showed up on time, were courteous, listened to our concerns, and best of all the floors look great!
- CSChristopher SackmannDec 14, 20191.0Bait and switch. Estimate creep... what comes to mind when I reflect on our experience. I was recently reminded of our experience as friends of ours are presently going through the same type of situation with the “work” being done by “Reliable” Floor at their business. Once again they are not owning their part in egregious miscalculations which have lead to their business being disrupted as a result. Not to mention, workers not showing up when they say they are, not having expertise in the task they are being asked to get done. We had hard wood floors put in our basement. Actual cost went way over! Kevin, the owner will come and talk with you and make you feel good for a bit, until you realize what you spent in the end and they didn’t take ownership as the experts. Lastly, this is one of my first posts, and I hate having to write this about a local business which I would like to support, however having heard that our situation is not isolated, I was compelled to post. Hope this helps.
