  Johnson & Sons Construction just completed a remodel of our primary bathroom and laundry room. Estimates were accurate and all adjustments were clearly explained. Vic and his team of associates and subcontractors were always pleasant, approachable, and respectful of our home in every way.   Johnson and Sons Construction came through for us in an urgent situation; the vertical trim of the garage door opening accidentally got knocked in while the car was going in, which misaligned the garage door track and also cracked adjacent siding. Vic was very responsive and came out the next day to realign the trim and assured us that the damage was not structural (as a result we were able to quickly arrange for a garage door specialist to readjust and tune up the garage door system). He delivered on his commitment to provide an estimate to replace the damaged siding and have his team come out to do the work, scheduling us for within a couple of weeks. John and Tony did great work replacing the siding, which looks seamless and was made to ready-to-paint condition. Communication was clear and responsive throughout, and we received timely and good quality service that matched the scope of the estimate. I would not hesitate to contact them again in the future and thank them for the peace of mind in a pinch.

  I reached out to Johnson & Sons and several other contractors to discuss the possibility of opening up and completely remodeling my kitchen and bathrooms, with the addition of a shower to the former half bath off the master suite. After receiving bids and meeting with each contractor, I went with Johnson & Sons due to the transparency and consideration Vic Johnson showed when discussing the project and its challenges, as well as providing a detailed quote. Because this remodel involved the removal of walls, tiling of the kitchen/bathrooms, potential size constraints, and a re-plumbing of the house, It was very important for me that things be done correctly, to code and with permits. Once demo and construction started, things proceeded at a brisk pace with minimal lag between subcontractors, and inspections. Their tile guy, Tony was great to work with and very helpful with making the appropriate detail selections around the showers. We did have a long wait for a cosmetic piece of cabinet siding, which ended up being the final part needed to complete the project. Vic was direct with me about the issue and the delay. Such a minor issue is in my opinion, very small potatoes compared to having quality work done. Ultimately, Johnson & Sons came in slightly under their contract price - a very pleasant and welcome surprise.

  Johnsons and Sons, once again, make the vision a realty. New floors, cabinets, countertops, paint, lighting in our Laundry Room/Mud Room-entryway (and new fireplace!). Top to bottom: perfect. Vic's communication throughout the project never left us guessing who was coming when and what we could expect on a day-to-day basis. He was always very clear on the cost and timing, no surprises. Jon gets the work DONE; I'm not sure there's anything he cannot do. And Tony . . . his tile work is second to none. We've asked Tony to tackle many and varied tile projects; his attention to detail has never left us disappointed and his finished product has always been the highlight. The Johnson and Sons subs (flooring, drywall, paint, electrical) are courteous, professional, and timely. When things are "missed" or overlooked (as ALWAYS happens with ANY project), the subs promptly return to get the work done, never a problem. Two more rooms to go and Johnson and Sons will have touched every room of our house.
