- TBTony BozikovichNov 30, 20251.0We purchased a mini-split system five years ago from Home Energy Group. Great people to work with and we were very happy with the installation. However, just past the one-year mark we noticed two cover line pieces, that protects the electrical lines to the units on the outside, were cracked. HEG came out and replaced only one (miscommunication) and said that workmanship was only guaranteed for one year and we were past the one year at that point, so normally they would not do this. Since then, keeping the line cover pieces together has been a persistent problem. We also discovered the power supply going into the outdoor condenser unit was not fastened. Recently, we noticed a smell coming from one of our units. We called a serviceman to come out. He removed the inside cover, where he found mice feces and urine. There was a hole left in the wall during installation where the lines come in from the outside. We have three other unit that all should have been sealed on both the inside and outside. We are very disappointed such a small thing to do during installation was left undone. UPDATE...We paid $189 for a diagnostic check, but the problem was not fixed. We would be very appreciative if you would take care of this issue. Thank you for responding.

The installers including Dustee, Kadin, and Elijah were meticulous, with attention to detail. Any issues encountered during installation were clearly communicated along with detailed solutions. The company owner was out multiple times to ensure customer satisfaction and to see that any needs were met. Their electrical contractor was also amazing, prompt, and ensured that codes were met. HEG took care of all the permitting requirements and permits were signed off by the county expeditiously. The new system is amazing and we couldn't be more pleased with it. Since moving to Clark County WA several years ago we have contracted with HEG to maintain our HVAC and heating equipment. Their work has been outstanding, primarily due to their technician "TYE". Always on time, very professional, polite and always honest about what was needed to be repaired. I strongly suggest you use HEG for your heating and air conditioning needs.
