  We have used Sun Design for two major home projects and a few minor projects. Each time, Sun Design exceeded our needs and expectations. In their design work and their workmanship they were professional, talented , exercised care, offered great ideas, performed very high quality work and finished on time and on budget. We could not have asked for more. Their work on the first major project impressed us so much that five years later, for the second major project, we didn't even ask for proposals from other companies. We went straight to Sun Design. We knew their people, their workmanship, and their service approach, and once again they delivered! We really enjoyed working with everyone involved in the projects; they are very good people!   In the last 10 years my wife and I worked with Sun Design on 3 distinct home renovation projects plus we utilized their client-only handyman services several other times - all with great success resulting in very beautiful and highly functional spaces. We first met Craig Durosko in 2013 while planning a full basement renovation including a wet bar, full bath, gaming area for pool and darts, and a media room. Craig listened to what we wanted, translating our ideas into plans for the space that were different from all other contractors. Then we learned of the Sun Design process where your design team truly partners with you ensuring that all of your wishes are met. They provide you with floor plans and elevations, 3D renderings, and a schedule for your project with lots of early and often communication and up front planning and material selections minimizing change orders and issues during construction. When the inevitable glitch occurs, especially in an older home like ours, Sun Design takes responsibility by listening to your concerns and working with you to resolve them. Sun Design has the highest integrity in dealing with the situation providing the best possible outcome. Ultimate customer satisfaction is a foundation of the entire company. Sun Design has a family feel from start to finish which we love. They take care of their customers and do not forget about you after your project is finished whether it be flowers or cookies on a key family date or completing a small home repair via their client handyman service. Their entire team and all of their partners have excellent attention to detail to go along with the highest quality of work and outstanding customer service. We returned to Sun Design a few years later, and only Sun Design, to open up our first floor including load bearing wall and stair moves plus a full kitchen and bath renovation. Most recently, Sun Design completely redesigned and exquisitely updated two second floor full baths while also refreshing the master bedroom and closets greatly improving the usable space everywhere. Sun Design listens and interprets your vision with quality personnel at every turn who are on-time, professional, neat, and reliable while providing outstanding craftsmanship in an end product that you will love for many years. That is why we have returned to Sun Design without even considering another contractor and have recommended them to so many of our friends and family.

  We used Sun Design for a sunroom and new patio addition in 2020. We signed the contract just as COVID was hitting, but they managed to complete the job just about on the original schedule is spite of that. The team was terrific from consultation on what we wanted, to design and rendering, to demo of the existing, to permitting, execution and follow-on service. Two years in and we remain delighted with the outcome and so glad we chose Sun Design.

  As a professional interior designer, I had confidence in the team that Sun Design provided for my kitchen, laundry, and master bathroom remodeling project (March 2022 - May 2023). The final outcome exceeded my expectations. I appreciate that the designers collaborated so well, addressing all the details, and welcoming my selections for appliances, cabinets, and room finishes. The construction crew and associated trades performed extremely well with the installations, trouble-shooting great solutions for unanticipated repairs. Together we worked through a number of challenges. The final outcome was well worth the extra effort!
