  I needed routine maintenance on my furnace. Christian R. did a great job, and was very friendly and attentive. He gave me the option of visiting sooner than the time I was scheduled, which was a huge help. I continue to be very pleased with the quality of work, and the technicians, from Michael & Son.

  Donald is a rockstar plumber and rooter specialist. He has helped us out numerous times over the past six years with clogs. He's always friendly, helpful, and very informative. He has great household tips that help us keep up our own plumbing maintenance and avoid unnecessary callouts.

  The Michael & Sons technician, Rafael Flores, was punctual, polite and professional. He took good care of tuning my heating system, provided honest feedback (did not try to upsell), and fixed some issues that had reduced my system’s performance/efficiency. I highly recommend Michael & Sons seasonal checkup service for $69 fee, and I may have to request for Rafael Flores to be the visiting technician when I set up my next service appointment!

  I needed an emergency appointment to fix a heating issue in the winter. The technician, Rafael Flores, was professional, worked efficiently, resolved the issue, and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. Very pleased with the service we received and will definitely be rehiring when needed.

  Not good. 12 Dec install of a $1350 UV germicidal light for my home HVAC system. Tech punctured the evaporator coil with a screw (not pinhole size puncture either) which released all the Freon out of the system. Now the coil needs to be repaired or replaced before using AC next spring/summer. I got an apology, $100 off for the install and a promise that they will fix it for free because the problem/issue is their fault. Called that afternoon to speak to the manager…no call back to the two numbers I left. I can see it now, we will repair the coil but…..(fill in the excuse here…. We can’t get a replacement coil because the unit is over 15+ yrs old or the repair won’t be permanent and you will need a new system anyway in 5 years or we we can repair it but can’t guarantee the repair.). My expectation will be repair it soon, repair to the same level as the system was before the tech’s mistake, and repair + Freon charge should be free due to tech’s mistake in not checking what’s behind panels before drilling. Michael and Sons, I’ve spent nearly $8k in three months for a water heater, two service contracts, and the UV light system—you can do better. Now I’m waiting for the manager to remedy the situation so that the fix action puts the system back to the running order that it was before the puncture.
