I’m honestly really frustrated with the condition of this new house. One of the biggest issues has been the constant squeaking from the floors, something you absolutely don’t expect in a newly built house. It’s not just an occasional creak; it’s persistent and noticeable in multiple areas, which makes it hard to ignore on a daily basis. On top of that, there was a sagging section of the floor that clearly needed attention. While I appreciate that an attempt was made to fix it, the outcome has actually made things worse. The repair lifted the floor too high, leaving it uneven and unfinished. Now it’s in a state that feels incomplete and even more concerning than before. What’s most disappointing is the lack of follow-up. There’s been no clear communication, no timeline, and no real update on when or how these issues will be properly resolved. For a new home, this level of workmanship and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I expected much better quality and responsiveness. Lastly, there are also plumbing issues that shouldn’t be happening in a new home. One of the faucets is loose, and even when it’s fully closed, water continues to come out. This not only wastes water but also raises concerns about the overall quality of the installation. I hope new future homeowners double check or even triple check everything in Richmond American or Holt houses during the inspection. So, they wouldn't feel the same feeling I feel toward my house.

There is so much unfinished work in our house. The first owner wasn’t able to get them to fix anything despite having a warranty. Now we’re footing the bill. They didn’t even finish framing out the door to the hvac closet. Wtaf how did it pass permitting and inspections? The ducts all over the house bang every time the heat turns on making it hard to sleep. And who installs AC in house with no return in the upstairs? Not to mention the AC is leaning to one side. The hot water heater and washer/dryer unit are just sitting on the floor. Takes forever for hot water to come out of the faucet. The floors are not level and the handrails in the stairwell are coming off the wall. Rafters holding up the roof were split and the metal reinforcing wasn’t mounted correctly. The plastic vapor barrier lining the foundation wasn’t even installed in one large section and now has to be redone. Even the damn fencing is falling apart. The house is only 4 yro and the previous owner took good care of it but couldn’t get the builders to follow through on their warranty despite all this. They literally didn’t even have the electrical box inspection sticker posted. Did the city approve of the electrical?!? who knows! This damn company cuts corners every step of the way. Be careful if you’re thinking of purchasing one these homes.

Worst customer service. Very rude and condescending. They act all nice until you sign the contract and the lying and cheating starts immediately after that. David Weekly and Holt homes are nice and they treat everyone with respect
