  I purchased a home in August 2023 in the Luna Community at Sunstone. The association in this development has been extremely difficult to deal with. They did not send any notices of HOA dues (which are billed quarterly) and instead of attempting contact, they immediately sent our account to collections. Even after paying off the entire amount with the collections agency (including all the tacked on fees) the association tells me they can’t provide me any updates or information. They barely answer the phone. They won’t provide help in enrolling in auto payments to prevent this happening either. Aside from this, just be warned that it will be extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone on the phone unless you’re calling to purchase a home. If you’ve already purchased, then you’re relegated to leaving voicemails and waiting weeks for a response. They move slowly on everything, including taking months to approve us to add landscaping to our backyard. It’s extremely disappointing, but unfortunately this management is exactly the reason HOA’s have such a bad rep.
