I would give no stars if I could. Terrible experience and very unprofessional. $5000 for repair work that left my home in even worse shape. Below is the email I sent to their company. Hello, Several windows at my home had compromised dual pane window seals and needed to be repaired. I had a similar issue several years ago and used a one man contractor who did a great job repairing my upstairs window. However, given the scope of the issue, multiple windows, and the fact that I was going to be moving in two months, I reached out to your company. You were double the price of the guy I used before, but had great reviews and seemed to have the capacity to handle my problem in short order. The gentleman you initially sent out, X, was very good and professional. He reviewed the issue, provided the estimate, and committed to having the job completed prior to my 4/23 moving date. I then made a 50% deposit of over $2,000, since you had to buy the glass. Sometime went by and I was beginning to get nervous that you would not be able to complete the job prior to my move date. When I called, I was told that your team would be there on the 22nd, the day before my move. I was then told they would have plenty of time to finish the job that day. On 4/22; Y and another gentleman arrived at home to do the repair. Both my girlfriend and I noted that Y reeked of marijuana. Throughout the day, Y appeared visibly uneasy and stressed. By 4 pm, they were nowhere near completed with the work. Y then told me he would have to come back tomorrow. THE DAY MY MOVERS WERE COMING. I had no choice but to agree. Otherwise I would be stuck with a half completed job. On 4/23; Y showed up again, this time with a different helper. Again, he reeked of pot. Again, it was the same exercise as the day before. Y was frantically running around trying to get the job done. THIS TIME THOUGH, I HAD TO OVERSEE A CREW OF MOVERS AND COULD NOT WATCH WHAT WAS HAPPENING. As evening was coming upon us, myself and my girlfriend were panicking as the house needed to be cleaned and touch up painted, as I was driving cross country the next day and my tenants would soon be moving in. Finally, Y notified me that the job was done and asked me to pay the remaining sum. We did a brief inspection as the sun was going down and I needed to complete loading my car and cleaning. I honestly just wanted Y out of my home. Just prior to leaving that night, my girlfriend and I took a much closer inspection of Y's work. Here is what we found: - A couple of the windows no longer function properly. They are in worse condition than when Vernon arrived. - Y left filthy greasy fingerprints that can't be removed from the window panes, the windows and the interior of my home. He never even got up on a ladder to clean the exterior of the windows. They are filthy. - We found little piles of window parts in several places where Y was working. - The areas between the window glass and wall were severely scratched and damaged. All the areas that Y worked require repainting at a minimum. - There were multiple locations where the plaster around the windows was damaged by Y. Given I had new tenants coming in, I had to paint over that damage. Please note I have moved to the East Coast and now have a property manager overseeing the property. Everytime I deal with this issue it costs me money. Also, I am a business consultant that bills at a $xxx / hr rate. Thus far I have conservatively spent 2 hours on this issue. Although I have already alerted my credit card company to the issue, I expect you to fully refund my money. I will now have my property manager address the issue and he will bill me accordingly. As of this point, I have not alerted my attorney. I also have not gone on to Yelp or Google to provide reviews. My hope is you will do the right thing before I have to take more action.

Daniel Guillén is an amazing employee who provided honest and professional work. He answered all of our questions and was patient and made our home project a success. My wife and I truly felt listened to during his work on our door and are completely satisfied with his professionalism and work ethic.

We paid this company $9,000 for a sliding door repair with the understanding that the work would be completed within 3 weeks. It has now been months since March, and not only has the repair still not been completed, but communication has been extremely unprofessional. We were repeatedly told they were “waiting on the vendor,” yet nobody ever proactively updated us. We’ve had to constantly follow up ourselves, and now our calls are barely being answered. For the amount of money paid, we expected honesty, communication, and timely service. Instead, we’ve been left with delays, excuses, and no clear timeline. If a company cannot complete the work they promised, they should not take thousands of dollars upfront. Very disappointed with the lack of accountability and customer service. I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

I hate to do this but our experience is a one star experience. I don’t know whether it’s the technician Kristall or the company as whole operates. Whether the company itself handles the job or the entire job is sub contracted to another company. We were charged for an onsite quote and estimate. It wasn’t cheap. We were told that we are giving the best price around town. We were upfront and transparent telling the tech we would like to get a few other quote from closer by business. We were told that they will email us the estimate, type of glass, and the dimension of the glass. A week gone by nothing with lots of run around. Finally I was able to get a return call from the technician to find out that they are not able to provide us the information they promised us. Information we paid for from their onsite estimate. We were quoted $2800 with installation. Subsequent phone calls from the company notifying us that they are able to give us a AAA special for $2300 installed. I asked the tech why they are not able to give us a proper report they promised us? I was told nah we don’t do that! Fast forward a week later, we contacted Capistrano glass company. The process was painless and overall experience was transparent. They provided free onsite inspection and we were able to get the exact glass replacement for $950. We were under pressure from the HOA and would of gone with the sliding door company because of the time restraint and unsuspectedly pay the $2300 they quoted us. We decided to reach out to Capistrano glass co because the shady practice we experienced from the first. Whether it’s just an isolated incident with your personnel or it’s just the way y’all conduct your business. There is definitely a lot for y’all to reflect on and improve the quality of your business.

Very bad experience with this company. Super high price compares to other companies. The guy came to give the ridiculous estimate for over $2400 with only simple repair. Then after I complained the price, the office guy said the guy got the wrong estimate, i didn’t need to change the whole track and went down to over $1300 by only adding an under piece. I checked ChatGPT and got the regular price should be less than $600. Then i talked with them again, the guy didn’t want to lower much, so I told him I needed to think about either to pay $49 trade call fee or trade call fee towards to repair and would let him know next day. But the next day early morning, the guy messaged with threatening that I needed to pay right away otherwise he will contact my tenant or HOA. That was very ridiculous. I never said I didn’t want to pay the call fee. Then I chose not go with them anymore and paid the call fee right away. I found another repair company, got a free professional estimate and only paid $550 for replacing the whole track. $550 compares their over $2400 estimate, that is too much difference. Compare with other companies before making the decision.
