  I had a great experience with Hayden C. He was professional, kind, and took the time to thoroughly explain the electrical issues and the repair process to me. I really appreciated his patience in answering all my questions—it’s clear he knows his trade well and cares about his customers understanding the work being done. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of service provided. He completed the repairs efficiently and left everything clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing electrical work and will be calling him again for any future needs.

  From the beginning, it was a good experience. Austin Lewis called to inform us that he would arrive at 5:30, which he did on time. He was personable. He went to evaluate the situation that we have. He explained what needed to be done and also answered all our questions. As we went on talking, he talked about the company he is working for, which shows from his tone and the information he provided that he enjoys working here, and it's great to know that it's a family-owned company!!

  Called these guys mid afternoon on a Friday & they were able to come out & get my tanks emptied. Jon, the tech was great & very informative & knowledgeable about the septic system we have. Just hoping when they come back out next week, they can assess the actual issue we have going on & get the plumbing back to where it is working properly. Thanks to friendly staff & Ryan for being able to make it happen on short notice.

  I have had Bacon out for three things so far: once to quote a water heater, once to check out an issue with my HVAC unit's heating function, and once to seal up a hole in my ducting. All interactions have been friendly and helpful. The technicians were never pushy and the quotes were reasonable. Austen was my HVAC tech both times and he was amazing. His work was excellent and he was both professional and friendly. He was also very good about explaining everything in detail so I knew what was wrong and what was needed. Overall, great experience so far with this company. I will definitely use them in the future for HVAC needs and any plumbing needs outside of my own capabilities. Thank you!

  UPDATE: Septic line broke and filled our master bath. Called Bacon as we are on the “Friends & Family” plan and they were nice as always. However; I did hear that for the emergency callout there is still a $200 fee. Wasn’t happy about that and of course it’s in the contract but was missed in the discussion when we signed up. Chad came out on call and took him just short of two hours to get here as he lives on the other side of DFW - not his fault. Super nice guy and helpful. He wasn’t able to snake through the issue which appears to be a broken pipe, but bit a supervision is slated to come today for a follow up inspection. Just shy of $600 spent last night and who knows the total cost yet for this repair. FUN TIMES! Anyways, Chad was great. Not his fault for this and I appreciate him driving the distance to try to help us. Also to note: There are no supervisors on call on the weekend which is making us wait until Monday to get a camera snake. We have more storms coming Sunday so who knows if the pipes will flood back up again due to ground water raising. Friends & Family plan should have a supervisor on call on the weekend. I will continue to update my experiences on this review as we go and adjust my rating based on those experiences and the totality of the experience. ORIGINAL: Woke up to some electrical outlets that were not working and the breaker was not tripped - so started researching electrical companies with high reviews. I came to Bacon and remembered all the ads and the reviews were great. Who doesn’t love Bacon!? I called and spoke with Jared who was great on the phone and very helpful. He told me Zac would my tech. Not long afterwards I received a text saying Zac was on the way and Zac even called me with a time he would arrive. Let me tell you how lucky Bacon is to have Zac - what an incredible tech and an even better human being. I couldn’t stop talking with him as he diagnosed the issues with my electrical system that we later found out to be something I messed up when changing and switch to a dimmer LOL UGH (my defense is it’s an older house and all wires are the same color - don’t @ me!). I ended up signing up for their Friends & Family plan which is an incredible deal for everything they do - highly recommend that btw. I also later spoke with Tiffany briefly on the phone and she was incredible as well. It’s so hard to find a business that makes you feel special and Bacon did just that. Again - I cannot recommend Zac & Bacon enough. What a great experience and a nice price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
