TLDR: Will not work with you to schedule an appropriate time block for a visit. Will come early and try to tell you policy says something it doesn’t. And then will conduct two visits and be requested for a third in the course of three weeks and will not resolve anything and you will be looking for a new contractor. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Requested service through AHS for our A/C unit tripping a breaker and was assigned Brown A/C and Heat as the contractor. Technician was Chris. Scheduling was horrible: First off, they send an email the day prior with a time to start work. They call you the day of with a 2 hour service window and then tell you they are running early and will not be available during the actual service window. We were able to accomodate, to the best of our ability, them being early the first two appointments, but the third appointment was the last straw. We hadn’t had A/C from 12/20/25 until presently (1/2/26). We received an email on 12/26/25 that our appointment would start at 9am which worked with us. We received another email on the same day changing the appointment to 12pm and then another on the day of service changing it to 11am. Chris called to give us our window on 12/29/25 of 11am-2pm. I tried to see if he would be willing to come at 1130am so my spouse and I could make it back from a medical appointment. (Mind you, the other visits Chris made, barely conflicted with our schedules and if we would have slid them by half an hour we could have been there on time and there was no coordination of appointments beforehand. Just an email with a start time a business day before and a call the day of. We DID NOT have a say in the appointment window.) Chris replied and said, “Actually, I’m running a bit early and am planning to be at your home by 1030am.” I replied emphasizing he had literally just told me the service window was from 11am-2pm and the email said the same thing. And my spouse and I were going to be at medical appointments. He tried to say that AHS policy states that we have to have someone available at the home from 8am-5pm per the warranty policy. However, the policy does not state this and actually says, “The diagnosis appointment will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time during normal weekday business hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). You agree to make yourself reasonably available during normal business hours for services under this Plan Agreement to be provided.” My spouse and I were on holiday break from work but had 3 recurring medical appointments that only last an hour spread throughout the past two weeks. If Chris/Brown A/C & Heat had actually reached out to schedule a “mutually convenient time,” they would have found my spouse and I were definitely reasonably available other than the 1.5 hr block for a medical appointment and transit to and from. Secondly, Chris did diagnose our fan motor was having issues. But he only checked the outside unit and not the inside during the diagnostic appointment. He came 2 days later to install the fan motor and the A/C unit started running again, but he did not come inside to see if it was blowing air. He told us to monitor and then we noted that the A/C unit was on and running but barely any air was coming out. So we put in a follow-up request for a third visit and decided to cut Chris/Brown A/C & Heat out of the picture. The diagnostic meeting lasted 30 minutes and the second visit with the fan motor he installed while I wasn’t present at the home (I was at a medical appointment, which I notified him when he called that morning). He did stay to explain, but DID NOT go into the house to ensure a proper op-test was completed. Lastly, DO NOT let AHS schedule your contractor to be Brown A/C and Heat. Call and request a different one. They are very disrespectful of your time and will not actually try to ensure your unit works properly after fixing.

The installers did a great job. 1st thing they did was protect our floors. Heater works great. Mostly what they promised they delivered. Charles worked it around our schedule. That's no easy feat
