  Shelton’s did a great job on our new fence. We looked at several different ideas, and ultimately they put up a beautiful board on board privacy fence with a natural cedar stain. Very happy with the results and highly recommend.

  They repaired an existing fence that someone poorly installed. After 7 years the fence is still good as new! They do really great work. True professionals!

  Our fence was installed by Shelton's Outback just over 2 1/2 years ago. Its a combination of 6' Ranch/wire fabric, 8' 'overlapped cedar, and steel mesh on steel poles. We absolutely love the entire mix of fencing....the black poles for the wire fabric portions, the privacy in our back yard pool from our neighbors, plus the protection of keeping out wild hogs that come in from the park behind us. And speaking of park behind us, we no longer get 'surprise' visitors coming up to the back of the house from the park. I did have my concerns about the 8' cedar sections holding up to the wind storms, but it has performed with no issues at all, even withstanding big gusts. Only change/advise I'd give is to have it lined up to stain/seal ASAP after construction to lock in as much of that great cedar tone as possible, esp if you're using Ready Seal natural cedar stain/seal, as we did. We couldn't get anyone for over 3 weeks, as I recall, and the Aug-Sep sun was already changing the color. We did another coat after a little over a year, and it looks great.

  Our previous fence was 15 years old and it was falling apart like crazy! It was a builder's fence and you could tell they used the cheapest materials possible. Only one gate was functional, which was a pain. We are so glad we hired Shelton's Outback Fence Company to do our new fence! We had a handful of companies come out to give us estimates, and Outback was the most affordable. Jeff Shelton, the owner, was great to work with and he was always in communication with me throughout the whole whole process. We went with galvanized steel posts and cedar pickets and we honestly could not be happier with how it turned out! The workers were kind and efficient, and they had the old fence taken down and the new fence completely installed in 3 days. They brought the old fence to the curb for us, so the city could pick it up. We were originally going to only have one gate installed, but we changed our minds on the last day. They were fine with it and made it happen! If you are in need of a new fence, you won't regret hiring Shelton's Outback Fence Company!

  We had a pool installed and needed a fence to enclose it and meet city code for pool enclosures so we could fill and finish it out. Jeff and his team did a great job laying out a iron panel fence in a challenging back yard along the canyons of New Braunfels. They made some custom panel modification on site and were able to make the prefab fence fit the hill country terrain exceptionally well even with the challenging 12 ft elevation change we presented him with. The finished product met and fully exceeded our expectations. Pricing was very reasonable and working with Shelton's Outback was a great experience!
