How do I get everyone’s attention without writing in all CAPS? I’m gonna go for transparency and hope it gets the job done. At the very beginning everything started off on the right foot. They were professional, requested all pertinent information, accepted my method of payment, and scheduled my service date by. I was told that they could not give an exact date due to scheduling but that it would be done in 3 days which I had no problem with. During this process I requested to be notified by the driver when he/ she was on their way. I was told that would not be a problem. I have an above grown septic tank that is near an RV on a construction site. This means that there would be no access issues for the service tech. Yes I informed them of all of this on the initial call. After the initial service date came and went I received no phone call so I went to go check on my property and my tank was not serviced. I called and they were apologetic. They told me that they would have it done next day by 3 PM. Being a business owner I understand that things happen so I respectfully agreed. Next day came and went. Still no phone call. At this point I had to use approx 4 hours of my Saturday to make my way to the construction site to see if my tank was serviced. Still not serviced so I spent more time calling them back to be told that the tech stated that they were on site at 11:00 AM but did not provide service due to no access point. Mind you I requested a phone call when the driver was in route. I also placed a piece of wood on top of the tank to see if it would be moved by the tech when they arrived. Neighbors have cameras so I knocked on their door and explained my situation. They were happy to check their cameras for me. No tech ever arrived so I was lied to. Not to mention the piece of wood was never moved. Spoke with Scott that Saturday and he was respectful but could not assist. That I don’t blame him for because he was only able to do what he could as he was not in the operations department. He said that he would reach out to operations the same day to see if they would go by my property “again”. He was honest and said that they would more than likely not go until Monday because Saturday was basically a catch up day. At this point over 2 weeks had passed and I felt that I had given every opportunity for this company to get it right but they couldn’t. I requested a refund from Scott which he said he would be processing. It is approx 3 weeks now. I called a few min ago to check on the status of my refund to be told that my refund was requested but still in processing. Last note…..I called several other companies and explained my experience with United Site Services and every single company I called literally laughed at me as soon as I told them the name of the company that I was dealing with (United Site Services). They all told me the same thing. They all said that United was the biggest company in town but was extremely difficult to get along with. I now see first hand why United has such a low rating on Google. If you choose this company for service I hope your experience goes better than mine did. Blessings to all including United.

Frequently Asked Questions About United Site Services

What are the guidelines for A.D.A. restrooms?

United Site Services offers portable wheelchair accessible restrooms that are A.D.A. compliant for use on a construction site, commercial area, or special event in some areas. Where available, our A.D.A. units are large enough and contain the proper elements to meet the standards that have been outlined by the 'Americans with Disabilities Act'.

How much does it cost to rent a Porta Potty?

There are a few factors to consider that can affect the total Porta Potty rental price. What is the length of my event, hours, days, weeks, months? The length of time the unit will actually be in use directly affects how many toilets you might need to order. Weekend event portable toilets and sinks are typically delivered on a weekday leading up to the event and picked up on a weekday following the event. Weekend delivery, service or pickup is available at an additional charge. Upgrades, like flushing toilet restrooms or restrooms with hand wash sinks will be at a higher rental rate than basic Porta Potty rentals. A.D.A. accessible restrooms might be required for your public event, large or small. The standards that have been outlined by the Americans with Disabilities Act state that for single user portable toilets clustered at a single location, at least 5% but no less than one A.D.A. accessible portable toilet shall be provided at each cluster. If you are on a construction job site, you will need to follow A.N.S.I. restroom requirements for the number of toilets needed on site.
