  We had Decks and Docks redo our dock and boathouse. The contract was to remove the existing dock, build a new angle dock and a border dock around the boathouse, and install a new hoist lift with required framing inside the existing boathouse. We sent a ⅓ deposit (about $5000) when the contract was signed in November, which the company promptly cashed. The job was finally started the following March. In between, Duane Ebert kept promising and then missing dates when he said the work would be started. First two target dates in December, then January, then two dates in February. After we finally complained to him, he committed to a date in early March, but failed to show up then too. I understand how contractor schedules can change from various delays. But it’s a problem when a contractor repeatedly makes promises and then breaks them, giving only excuses for why they prioritize someone else’s projects. In the end after the job was complete, the work was acceptable but not especially good. Nails were missing from some of the decking, framing was splintered, miter joints were poorly done, and the boat lift was not properly greased, so it squealed. Decks and Docks didn’t respond to several requests to grease the boat lift. Not a good experience.

  I absolutely love our Deck that Duane and his guys built for us.. We’ve had so much fun in the sun! I would highly recommend these people. They are good people and they are very trustworthy. I also want to give a shout out to Denise Ebert. She and her people did an amazing job on our Kitchen remodel. I absolutely love it! It is so beautiful. I would highly recommend these people. You can trust that they will do a great job for you.

  Dwayne and his crew crew did an awesome job building my patio pergola. His price was a bit higher than second bidder for the 10x14 pergola but it looks great and the finish is top notch with every piece of wood sanded so there are no way to get slivers. His crew arrived on time and went right to work. Very polite bunch. Thanks for the shade Dwayne.
